Confused about seeds!
Can anyone please tell me if seeds are good or bad for under active thyroid? I’m so confused as I have been reading that they are really great for you and then the next article tells me that they are really bad for you? I have a cupboard full of chai, linseed, pumpkin, sunflower seeds etc! Help!

Who knows about ferritin/ iron tests? Confused here! Do I need to do something? Help please!
I get confused with ferritin and iron results, as I can't remember how they work together. Ferritin is low, but haemoglobin is ok? My GP marked everything 'normal'. I'd be grateful for some explanation and advice on what to do please! I have felt more tired. In fact absolutely exhausted a couple of

Brain fog….🤯🤯
Main cause of brain fog is actually side effect of certain other medical problems like vitamin deficiencies, food sensitivities, thyroid disorders, blood pressure changes, certain medicine side effects, depression, stress,
anaemia
, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome, sleep disorder to name few.

Why cyanocobalamin injection is more helpful than hydroxocobalamin?
I inject cyanocobalamin three times a week and two times hydroxocobalamin a week. I feel difference between then but I think day after cyanocobalamin I feel less symptoms than days with hydroxocobalamin. So why cyanocobalamin injection is nit considered preferably better choice. I tried many cyanocobalamin

What genetic / genomic information does a BMB give that bloods don’t?
☹️ Its the
anaemia
( which both the ruxolitinib and the MF contribute to) thats related to fatigue snd general grottiness. Some of the newer drugs don’t seem to cause so much
anaemia
. But as the posts here are informing us having the right genetic info is important. Rachelthepotter

Strange iron panel results (part 2!)
I posted several weeks ago about an anomaly in my 18 year old daughter's ferritin results and received some really helpful advice from @humanbean and others. Her ferritin level from a Medichecks blood test was 75, however when her GP tested it a few weeks later it was just 15.4 and her Haemoglobin was

Feeling under medicated, advice needed, just got a big no to levo increase from pharmacist
This, by the way, is the same pharmacist who told me in the first lockdown that I didn't need injections of B12 for my pernicious
anaemia
and could take tablets!

Functional vitB12 deficiency - anyone else?
I was diagnosed with a 'functional vitB12 deficiency' last year (I had high levels of MMA (methylmalonic acid) in my blood, but normal vitB12 levels in my blood as I had been taking max prescribed dose of cyanocobalamin) - which essentially means that although I have vitB12 in my blood, my body can't

Rapid responses to daily subcutaneous B12 injections??
I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia and iron deficiency anemia 3 months ago. (I’ve had 2 iron infusions so those levels are better now.) The B12 injections are extraordinarily helpful. I’ve been getting them subcutaneously on a daily basis. (I can’t tell any difference between subcutaneous and intramuscular

Prolia
Hi all. My rheumatologist is suggesting prolia injection for osteoporosis. Any info anyone please. I think I want to go down naturally route as the side effects sound awful along with steroids. I really don’t want to feel any worse. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Iron advice for my sister
Though you guys might be the best to ask. What is the best iron supplement going? My sister needed 2 iron infusions before surgery and could only get one due to poor veins. She needs an iron supplement and I said I would get it for her. I want her to have the one that will be most beneficial to her..
