I have Diffuuse Idiopathic skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH)
I was diagnosed with the above condition last year, after suffering with really bad back pain and stiffness. Well since then had to reduce my working hours from 37 hour to 27 hours, and now even that is begining to be hard to cope with. When I get hope my body is like of a 80 year old and so so tired

Chest Pain
I saw mY GP yesterday, he advised me my Chol. Level was 5.8, recommended Simvastatin, I took just one last night. This morning I woke with a tight chest and deep breaths were painful, called GP and was asked to go in for a ECG. Turned out OK, but how long for pain to disappear? I was in agony on

Am I experiencing a blood pressure med reaction?
I'll try to be kind of brief... I'm 35 year old male, married w/ two precious girls (4yrs & 3yrs old). About 6 years ago we discovered that I had high blood pressure while checking bp at my inlaws house. We have high bp and high cholesterol in my family so we decided to go to "the families" cardiologist

92 years old with AF
Four weeks ago my 92 year old mother in law had AF episode the day (bedtime actually) after we had left for our holiday. She was in hospital 8 days. ECG, Clexane injections and then Discharged on Tildiem (which she was first given only on day 7) - this made her feel awful so GP switched her to 1.25mg

. I have an oxy/ pulse meter which I used when I suffered from COPD. About 18 months ago I noticed from the meter that my pulse was all over the place. AF seems to have settled down. No more problems
I was diagnosed with AF about two years ago and was given amiodarone and a lot of other medicine.. None of which helped very much. And I had long periods of leaving me out of breath. I I then read on the Internet that losing weight and getting back to normal weight could reduce AF by 65%. I was so desperate

Bisoporol and Adizem - Heart Rate and Palpitations
My AF journey started apparently in or around 2010 at which time I was woken with chest an jaw pain with a pulse rate of around 140BPM and blood pressure that could not really be measured, the episode lasted around 2-3 hours. At this point in time I had been on Bisoporol for around 3-4 years for nothing

Checkup - another six months done
Well, here I am and I'm quite pleased/relieved. Currently sitting drinking a cup of tea in The Christie having had my six month review. I went into it with a little trepidation I have to admit. In Nov I had a blood test at my GP and my platelets had dropped to 123, a repeat at GP in December saw it
