Amlodipine and Flecainide
I have been prescribed by GP to take Amlodipine for high blood pressure whilst taking Fleacainide for AF. I have read this can be dangerous, is this the case?

Anxious over up coming blood results
Hi all, I think I am just looking for some reassurance and wise words which I know I’ll get from here. It’s a bit of a saga but I’ll try and be brief . Back in March I tore the calf muscle in my leg and tore a ligament in the other. Weeks on crutches and very swollen ankles and feet along with bruising

Amlodipine Side Effects, short and long term
I am on 10mg amlodipine (this dosage was prescribed right off the bat) several years ago, to be taken with 100mg labetalol twice a day. I felt terrible at first but better now, though frequently tired. I'm wondering if these meds are too much and the cause of my fatigue (I am 69 y.o.) I am also being

Malignant Hypertension episode
Hi I’ve had PAF for around 6 years, last episode a couple of years ago. I take Eliquis twice daily, with no ill effects and bisoprolol 2.5mg daily. A week ago I had my Pfizer booster jab. This was my 4th dose and since I had mild side effects (erratic heart rate, blood pressure raised) for a week on

Sibo & Medications
I have had diffuse systemic scleroderma since 2011, I am 71 years of age. I had my first bout of sibo a year ago, for which I was prescribed metronidazole followed by co-amoxiclav, that worked perfectly. I have recently had another episode of sibo & took the same drugs, but it seems to be coming back

Irregular heart beat indicator on BP monitor
hello so notwithstanding differences in accuracy between different types of monitors (as well as cuff or wrist), anyone with a monitor that has indicator for irregular heart beat find that this is an accurate indicator in terms of heart beat issues you have. Or does it show even if you don’t have heart

Strange smell
Since I started on the drugs below, I seem to have a strange smell constantly in my nostrils. My wife says she can't smell anything. This strange chemical type smell is apparent in my pee too ( at least to me!) I'm due to see my HF nurse on Friday, but has anyone ever experienced this? I was diagnosed

Update
Spoken to GP at length this morning regarding this awful fatigue I am suffering from, and how awful I’ve felt since starting Amlodipine. He agreed reluctantly that as I’ve been slightly better since stopping Amlodipine a week ago he would remove it from my prescription, but has increased Cozar (Losartan

Anaemia, blood pressure and Amlodipine
I am on 5 mg amlodipine daily for high blood pressure, and have been for more than a year. Since then my blood pressure has not been tested. It has become routine to take this repeat prescription, so I don't unfortunately know how high my BP is today. However, just recently I have experienced various
