Reaching out to new mums ...
Hi Everyone I just thought i'd send a message to reach out to other new mums out there for a bit of support. Hubby and I recently had our first baby conceived through Clomid. After a long and stressful infertility journey, we are so very grateful and couldn't be happier. I had a difficult delivery

No joy with Doctor
Hi all, I was really ready to give up but with all your remarkable spirit and positivity I decided we should look into trying to working with what we have by either Clomid or IUI or both as we just can’t afford another failed IVF cycle. I went to the doctor today to talk through the options and getting

Metformin for PCO not PCOS - is this right?
Hi lovely ladies, I had an appt with NHS gynae yesterday r.e infertility. I have been TTC for 14months, all blood tests normal, hysteroscopy normal, ultrasound scan normal apart from polycsistic ovaries. He has put me on the waiting list for a HSG as this is the final piece to the investigation puzzle

Hi all, I’ve been TTC for 18 months. I fell naturally in month 3 but had a MMC. Cycles were never quite right and saw private consultant who prescribed Clomid. Just finished 7th round with no luck despite releasing two eggs every cycle at right time and good thickness endometrium. Consultant tested for

Hi I’m 31 (on 30th sept) I have been trying to get pregnant since last November when I came off the mini pill. I have been diagnosed with PCOS, and hadn’t had a period since Feb, felt funny beginning of Aug so took a pregnancy test- found out I was 1-2 weeks, tested a week later and said 2-3 weeks!!

A little bit worried - not sure what to do
So I’m a little bit scared.. I took a pregnancy test tonight and it has come out positive clear blue says 2-3 weeks. The problem is I have had really bad cramps like waves of pain, that make me gasp and feels like period pain or trapped wind, which I put down to my period being due after taking my

Bfn for us :(
Hiya, thursday HCG tests came back as less than 5 so the doctor told me it’s a bfn. We cried and we’re a bit sad but we’re trying not to surrender. Our next consultation is tuesday, doc may suggest doing a Clomid cycle next time, anyone here knows how it works? I wish you’re all well❤️

Anyone else with polycystic ovaries (not the syndrome) and secondary infertility?
Hi everyone Just wondering if there is anyone out there in a similar position to me as this whole thing feels pretty isolating at times. I’m 36 and my husband is 38. We were lucky enough to have a son naturally in 2015 after 9 months of trying but have had difficulty TTC a second child and I’ve since

Saw this in the morning on my 2ww & felt happy 😃
Hi everyone. How is everyone doing? I was feeling concerned I had twinges on my left side yesterday & today whilst walking my dogs I had tugging feeling across my tummy both lasted a few seconds. I came home to see this rainbow outside our garden! I had literally two drops of blood at lunchtime , but

Hi everyone. I know I said I wouldn’t test 😏 but I had a rise in temperature & lots of fertile mucus and breast pain. This morning I had a faint line on the test but this afternoon re tested & yeah I got my smiley face 😊😊😊 I wondered if the clomid had delayed ovulation & now I know when to expect

BFN after final Clomid round, next stop IVF...
Hi everyone Well, the title says it all really... got the BFN we’d been expecting this morning. Need to wait for period now then start taking the contraceptive pill before the scans and appointments for IVF start. Hadn’t held out much hope for this last Clomid round and don’t feel as bad as in previous

This is my 4th month on Clomid and for the past 3 months I ovulated. I had the trigger on Friday 24/08 but I actually think I ovulated on Sunday 26/06. Last night almos with no warning I had a blood discharge! Enough to go through my underwear and tights but right after it stopped with just a little

Clomid PCOS
Hi, Any clomid success stories? I have PCOS but only polycystic ovaries none of the other issues such as excess hair etc. I tried 50mg clomid this cycle but no luck so doctor has said on my next cycle to up it to 100mg and see how I respond. Feel really down that it didn’t work. Thanks xx

Fluid around C-section scar
Hi At my monitoring scan yesterday the nurse said there was some fluid round my C-section scar and that this was quite common. She took a picture and said she’d show it to the doctor. I didn’t think much of it at the time and can’t even really remember if the nurse mentioned it again when she came back

When to take Ovitrelle
Hi everyone Hope you’re all doing ok. I had a monitoring scan today for our last round of Clomid, it’s day 11. I have one large-ish follicle on either side, one 13 and one 17mm. Previously at scans they’ve just told me when to take Ovitrelle but this time they’ve told me to do ovulation tests and take
