Hey lovely, sorry to hear your news. I am not sure what clomid does, I think it’s a drug that helps you ovulate naturally, bug I don’t know - am sure some of the ladies on here can help. Just wanted to wish you the best with your next steps. Take care of yourself xx
I'm so sorry to hear that - it is really hard. Clomid is taken on day 2 (if I remember rightly) of your cycle and then taken for 5 days. The dose varies depending on your needs, but it helps you to ovulate. You will then be required to track your LH surge and either time sex at the right time or it can be taken whilst doing IUI. The latter was how we used Clomid. Good luck with your appointment. Xx
My sister had trouble getting pregnant with her 1st daughter but after a few months trying on Clomid fell pregnant. Hopefully you will have the same luck!
Hello, just went through a MNC clomid treatment. It is really easy, in my case I just had to take 2X 50mg of clomid from day 2 to day 7. The good news was that we retrieve 3 eggs, which is great for an MNC but none of them where mature at retrieval, one matured in vitro but didn't fertilised. So all in all, the results are less convincing than what experienced before without clomid. I think it is good to try alternative treatments but it seems that in my case, it increased the quantity but decrease the quality. Not very helpful I know. Sorry for that. I try to stay happy beyond this super difficult time in life.
