Never needed clomid thankfully but lots of ladies on here have and hopefully someone will advise you. Good luck xx

Hi hun.

Although I don’t have PCOS I have endometriosis my fertility doctor prescribed me clomid.

After my endometriosis was treated by an endo surgeon I did a round of clomid. I took 50mg between days 2-6. My Lh surge didn’t appear until day 15 at lunchtime ( i used clearblue digital ovulation tests) i saw the surge 2-3 days later than normal. It can make you ovulate later- as a rule of thumb you should expect to ovulate between 6-12 days after your last clomid pill was taken.

Happily I can tell you it worked first time & that I’m 5 and a half weeks pregnant!

Wishing you the best & hope it does the trick 😘 xozo

Hi SMtalb. I've always known it to be taken on Day 2-6, however, a day difference should be OK if that is how it has been prescribed. You should ovulate about 12-14 days into your cycle. Good luck! Diane

Hi Diane, yeah I was advised by my Dr to start it on day 3-7. Fingers crossed it works 🙏🏻 That’s great thank you. I haven’t had positive opk yet but getting there ☺️ Xx

There are some clomid calculators online that can work out when you ovulate. I used them and they seemed to work. I was told by my clinic not to use opk as PCOS can give false readings and to do temping instead (which I have never got the hang of)

We just started having sex a couple of days after my period every couple of days for two weeks or so. Took the pressure off a little bit then as well I found and it worked. But it’s whatever works for you really.

Good luck! X
