Baclofen and PLMD symptoms
About two months ago I strained my back lifting a swimming pool pump. My PLMD symptoms immediately increased. I began upping my dosage of Baclofen up to 80 mg some nights. My PLMD kept getting worse. My VA Dr ordered a CAT scan, which showed nothing wrong. I met with him after the results came back,

Hi Greygoose, I've seen your reply to Helen'shubby. Just wondering about my T4 and T3 . I'm awaiting new test results but my last test showed T4 at 22.4 ( 7.5- 21.1) ( 109.56%) FT3 4.9 (3.8-6.8) (36.67%) TSH is always undetectable B12 351 (110- 914.0) I am supplementing now (nature provides 3000mcg daily

I’ve been trying to get stable on t3/4 combination, still a way to go as last results after increasing to 10 mcg liothyronine in 2 doses were the worst yet, t3 and t4 both at bottom of range, vitamin D draining away again despite supplements. Feeling dizzy, breathless, jelly legs 3 hours after my dose
Hey everyone, Any ideas on this? I feel okay in the morning, okay late evening, but few hours after taking thyroid meds I start to feel tired, dizzy, breathless and my legs are like jelly. I take 86 mcg T4 and 23 T3 in Armour and synthetic T3 combined. I'm in a process of eliminating Armour and adding

Questions about TSH and advice on results over the past year much appreciated
Hi everybody, I've posted several times lately and I just wanted to ask for advice on thyroid related issues. I had COVID 3 times from June 22 - Jan 23 and was symptomatic each time. I did have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia in 2018 but had been feeling a lot better in 2020 until I got COVID. Above

How much to increase?
Good morning allI've had a few creeping symptoms recently, very irritable, less energy, needing to nap or rest more, niggles in my left hand and wrist, a morning of brain fog, a few palpitations which all seemed to come to head with very bad PMT last week when I was very tearful for a few days. I have

How overcome a high B12 test from when I must supplement to function?
Both intrinsic factor and parietal antibody tests were positive ("abnormal") with B12 >2000. Methylmalonic Acid is normal at .28. I have Hashimoto's and other autoimmune conditions and I recently learned my mom was being treated for PA when she passed. After suffering so many of the symptoms of PA for

Charlatan or science?
hi folks, I am awaiting diagnosis of Grave’s disease and during the last 3 months since my blood tests via the NHS and the waiting game to see an endocrinologist, I have been researching hyperthyroidism. The internet is FULL of people claiming there is a link between micro biome and leaky gut and Graves

Hello
Hi there This is my first post so wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 6 years ago, and struggled with accepting there was an issue and then with the wealth of conflicting opinions. I couldn’t get why if it is such a common thing why it’s not taken more seriously

TSH/T3/T4/Vit B & D results
My previous Endo (private) retired last October and the new one (private) that I was suggested to see immediately reduced my Lio from 100 to 75 & the T3 from 20 to 10. Originally I had wanted to see an NHS Endo 3 years ago but none were available, hence the private route. My readings are T4 18.8 -

FT3 often higher than FT4; are my symptoms even hypo?
Hello everyone! I've been hypo now for a bit more than two years. Probably three or more, but diagnosed 2 years ago, and also taken levo since then. As doctors can be a bit difficult, and I have felt with no other choice, I have raised my levo dose myself several times. Otherwise I would still be

Help with PCOS inositol supplements (trying to conceive!)
Hi all! I've been diagnosed with PCOS in my teens. I had most of the symptoms on the list, no periods, acne, hirsutism, heavy bleeding when periods deign to appear. I lost count of how many different pills I took and had most of their side effects (apart from blood clots thankfully!). It got to a point

Intrinsic Factor result
bit disappointing it didn’t come back positive., but I know they don’t always accurately reflect the underlying condition. It also means my pernicious anaemia could be due to long term use of PPIs rather than autoimmune gastritis. (By the way stopped PPIs in December last year) .
