Conns disease

I have being diagnosed with Conns Diease. 2 benign tumours on my kidneys.

initially I was prescribed Spriolactone to reduce aldosterone. Potassium levels became very high. Also had diarrhoea, wheezing chest, and fatigue. Felt very poorly.

Had blood test and consultant stopped the Spriolactone. Some 4-6 weeks after stopping these tablets I feel fantastic, full of energy, getting up,on a morning and not feeling tired is amazing.

The consultant, after telephone follow up, has prescribed Eplereone, to reduce aldosterone.

Has anybody else been prescribed either of these tablets. I am very reluctant to start taking Eplerone as I feel so well.

I am 80 years old, very active. My diagnosis was made after a MRI scan, and due to irregular Blood Pressure.
