My GP changed my Meds
After moving from Edinburgh to London, my new GP has changed my asthma meds, I used to have a Bricanyl Turbohaler (0.5mg), Pulvinal Beclometasone Diproprionate (0.2mg), and a green inhaler, and Beconase nasal spray. Now my new GP has changed me over to Qvar Easi-Breathe 100ug, and Ventolin Evohaler

Singulair
I take Singulair on a daily basis. However at the moment, it is just not kicking my allergies. I constantly have a runny nose, irritating cough, running eyes (usual stuff) and at night sometimes I wake up with a tight chest. I have now got a reputation for constantly having a cold. IT IS NOT A COLD

The Allergy and Gluten Free Show
Just to remind / inform people that The Allergy and Gluten Free Show is on at Olympia on 13-15 June 2008. I have been in the past and would recommend it and am hoping to go again this year. Many of the items discussed on these boards may be found under one roof and purchased there such as puffa pouches

Do Anthistomine's help?
Child is on Flixitide and Ventolin daily but we have never taken any anthistomine (cant spell this word!) although she does have some allergies (mainly cats) my question is Does taking them relieve the asthma symptoms or help in any way or is it just another drug to add to the list?

Hi I dunno if anyone will have an answer for this but why does my hayfever get worse during the night and also when it rains? Often being okay on days with apparently high pollen count? Thanks Christine

Dysfunctional/Distorted Breathing;Asthma Please help me
Had asthma since I was 2 with at its best 2 attacks per year which prednisolone would clear up. Recently it has changed and I can't seem to get rid of this breathlessness with no wheezing. Was in hospital earlier in year and had various tests including the heart and thankfully they were ok, it was

Immunotherapy
My asthma is allergy based (pollen and dust) and as it's been poorly controlled for the last three months I'm trying to find some specific allergy treatments. Just wondering if anyone here has tried immunotherapy or knows anyone who has.

RAST test
Hi everyone, I've had allergies to pollen and dust for about 20yrs and recently had a rast blood test done in hospital, it has come back negative which is nice although I'm puzzled as I got tested for food and pet allergies and I really expected a positive result. Not that I want it to be but I do get

Nuts!
This may seem a bit silly, but the past two times I have eaten nuts the back of my throat has been itching, and the area around my mouth, nothing too serious... I get this with fish (but to a much larger extent), and I am allergic to fish. The thing is though, once it was peanuts, then the other time
