Asthma, Allergies and Work

Hello.

I have just qualified as a financial adviser and in the next couple of years after I have had experience in a support role I will be going out to see clients. I suffer with asthma and allergies to most pets. I am wondering if anyone out there has the same conditions and visits clients in their homes who could potentially have dogs, cats etc that could bring about allergice reactions and lead to an attack? How do you go about seeing your clients? I guess the only option for me would be to meet in our offices or places such as coffee shops, etc.

I would be interested to hear wether anyone has a similar problem to me and how they cope with it?

If you know someone has a pet you can arrange to meet elsewhere as you suggested or use your inhaler before going in. THat is waht I do when there are lillies at the front of church.
