Peanut Allergy help
I have recently had a private food allergy test which showed a mild/moderate reaction to peanuts. Thinking this mild reaction was not serious I ate some peanuts over the last few days. Today I finished the peanuts that were left but about 1 1/2 hours later was hit with a wave a nausea and heart palpatations

I’ve taken for 20 years for environmental allergies, but the Xysal is new. It makes me feel sleepy. I’ve also developed dry eyes, possibly linked to taking two antihistamines. I was using Flonase, but I started getting nose bleeds.

Feeling frustrated
I just received a condescending letter from my consultant. I had a blood allergy test come back as normal. Already had one so was expecting this. But i know i have allergies, the sneezing, coughing and watery eyes tells me so! I also had lung function tests. Which came back as normal. This confuses me

Nhs consultant says Ski's is a scoundrel
One of the problems with having devices inserted into your body is the possibility that your body may be allergic to them and react unfavourably or even try to reject them.as we all know this also happens with living tissue and the need for anti rejection medicines is standard practise in most post transplant

I opted to not do anything but to stay on a course of flonase and
allegra
for allergies as i feel this might be causing my problem and feels like I can’t clear my ears. You see, i can easily go down a rabbit hole of testing and don’t want to go to that place as it only addsto my anxiety.

Allergies: the scourge of modern life?
This might seem to be off-topic, and in many ways, it is. However we do see an awful lot of people here reporting that they have suffered allergies, or what appear to be the symptoms of allergic reactions, since being hypothyroid. Some already were sensitive, and seem more so. For others, these reactions

What I wish I had asked (when first diagnosed)
Hi everyone I’ve recently read an article about shared appts with doctors, and whilst it’s not something I would like personally, it does bring up an interesting point - very few people know what to ask when they’re first diagnosed (with asthma)! I know I never asked questions, mainly because at the
