Shannon,i investigated private allergy testing and they are very expensive,expect to pay somewhere in the region of £600 or more for for a proper professional job which would have been what i would have had to pay for a simple nickel allergy test,thankfully i managed to obtain mine through the Nhs but you will have to convince your Gp to refer you and even then you may have to wait a considerable time for an appointment.

No that is privately the Nhs is free if you qualify as a UK resident like all their other services.

Then unless you have a medical condition that warrants doing one you will have to go privately,here is a link and you can do your own investigation only anticipate paying an awful lot of money.
