Yes I have had an IGE blood test for allergies at my local hospital under an consultant. Full panel of testing for cats including in that. It came back as very allergic to house dust mites.

I not sure how you could assess this yourself. I would go through your GP and see what they can do for you.

I had an IgE BT done at (and by) my GP. I also had a skin prick test done at my specialist hosp.

BT more reliable than SPT, and you can ask your GP for it. You can pay to get SPT done privately but not as reliable and can be costly.

Hope that helps

Ask your GP to put you through for the test

A specialist in allergy and immunology does RAST testing that will help you learn about aero-allergens.

Watch primarily for mold and visible signs of water damage, peeling paint, leaking sinks etc. That exacerbates asthma terribly and doesn't show up on RAST tests and certainly isn't reliable at test.

Hi i got tested , it was my doctor that sugested it. I'm allergic to birds but thankfully not to my dog 🙂 I did have a budgie and the doctor asked if I would get rid if it .....nope I couldn't do that but i did say i wouldn't get another . When my wee man passed away . And to be honest I don't feel any different ?
