anxiety and depression causing nausea?
How can I get a rough idea if anxiety and depression is causing my nausea and constipation? I was a heavy drinker for a few years and benzodiazepines for a year but stopped 6 months ago and that’s when I started having problems I have been suffering from nausea for 6 months and constipation for 3 months

Need advice
Been feeling tired/exhausted for years. Weight gain, cold all the time. High cholesterol - being treated. Palpitations. A lot of these symptoms I have read can be due to thyroid problems. Had a private blood test done. Results are: TSH 3.71/ Free T4 14.3/ Free T3 4.5. I know these are within range but

The relationship between Tsh and T4
I hope this isn't annoying as I am still trying to learn this and understand better. I understand that for 90% of people with hypothyroidism TSH is a good indicator to use for fine tuning their medication dosage. But then there are the other 10% who can have various other issues getting in the way

Can anyone ball park interpret these results please?
Have posted previously in Jan and was advised to get a private test after a bad routine (but needed as been unwell for months) phone appt with Endo. After speaking to his secretary the Endo said repeat test with extras. After waiting more than a month I have now got the following path ‘headlines’ verbally

Some advice please
Hi, I'm in surgical menopause and have not felt 'well' for a number of years now. I won't bore you with the backstory of my trials and tribulations with HRT, all in the pursuit of feeling well enough to fully function. I've questioned Thyroid for some time, I had tests last September and posted them

Vitamin D levels
Hi guys, have a blood test at my GP tomorrow morning after I sent a message about getting my Vit D, Folate, Ferritin, B12 etc tested Is it the case now that if deficient, GPs won't treat? My levels a couple of years ago were 16 so very deficient Just worried if it comes back that low again, that GP

Hydroxychloroquine before Stims!
Hello everyone We are embarking on last own eggs cycle at the end of this month due to age. I have recently( in the last month) been diagnosed with mild adenomyosis and sticky blood, I am gutted that these issues have only been picked up now as I am nearing the end of my journey…but here we are.

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Hi everyone I have had hypothyroidism for a number of years and have been on 150mg of thyroxine. In the last month I have lost over a stone and my recent blood test showed my TSH was 0.07 and Free T3 & T4 normal. The doctor has told me to take 150mg 6 days a week and 100mg on one day a week. This doesn

B12 and Ferritin
I said I would post after my haematology consultation. I had a ferritin infusion in February after suspecting that I was ferritin/iron deficient as a result of research into ranges etc. I discovered that 30 can be regarded as ferritin deficient, a lot more than the bottom of the range 11 regarded as
