Grade 3 Fatty Liver - Liver Enzymes keeps on elevating
Last month I was diagnosed with grade 3 fatty liver through an ultrasound. I am 27 & extremely obese ( BMI - 33 ) . Just before that I had a drug reaction which led to short term Hemolytic Anemia and Jaundice . At that time everything on my LFT was elevated . It's been 40 days everything else on my LFT

Help with latest bloods please!
hi everyone I’m on 50mcg of Levothyroxine for Hashimotos and my original test results are in my profile. I’ve just had some bloods done with the GP and they’ve said no further action is required. I’m conscious that there is a difference between being within range and optimal, so I thought I’d come on

Results since taking T3
I've just got my bloods back (protocols as per this forum followed). I am speaking to my endo at the end of Feb and would welcome some guidance please. I added T3 (continued with 75mcg Levo). First 2 weeks 5mcg x3 per day and then 10mcg x3 per day ever since. The first month on T3 was really encouraging

Help with blood test results and symptoms please
Hi, I have hashimotos, and had a hemithyroidectomy just before Xmas. Before the operation I had been described as sub-clinical hypothyroid, with a TSH of around 2. Since the operation I been suffering from pins and needles and a feeling of slight breathlessness, which mostly comes on in the evening

Low Cortisol Symptoms Hid Lymphoma
Reduction of steroids—Extreme exhaustion, loss of appetite and weight, weakness, dry coughing, numb chin. All but the numb chin could be symptoms of low cortisol. A lower spine MRI to find a pinched nerve that had been hurting my glute resulted in an immediate call from radiologist to get to ER

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
I'd a mole removed from my right shoulder blade last November that was initially feared to be cancerous, but thankfully wasn't so. Since then I have an annoying pain in my right upper abdomen. Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a cystoscopy which

Addison's disease
I stopped taking Abiraterone three months ago to have a vacation. Was on it for six years. I tapered of the prednisone. I became very fatigued. Could hardly do anything in the morning and then limited things in the afternoon. then I thought of my low cortisol level (due to the abi) a couple years ago

How long for ANA/ENA results?
I've had quite a few symptoms of what my GP suspects might be a CTD, spanning back about 10 years but lots more cropping up more recently. She's requested (I think) an ANA test and I understand from googling that if the ANA is positive it then gets sent for ENA testing as well? I'm not sure what the

New blood test results
Hi all, Please see my first results 6 weeks after introducing T3. I'm on 125mcg of levo and 10mcg of lio. I am very confused because I was certain that my current symptoms were due to being undermedicated! And how can my T4 be top of range again despite me reducing my levo and introducing T3. TSH 0.007

My ‘thyroid journey’ has been an interesting one and now approaching its 4th year. I’m fairly convinced I don’t have autoimmune thyroid disease and relatively confident my adrenals play a big part in my symptoms, however it’s not just adrenals as I’ve tested myself on HC solo and it doesn’t work. Aaanyway

I have a profile in advanced prostate cancer. When I set it up I didn't realize there was more than one prostate cancer network/forum. People in the advanced prostate form suggested I join this one. It's been awhile, but here I am. I'm a 63 year old who had an RP in March 2021. So far my psa tests have

Elevated LDH
Hello, I haven’t posted before. My 44-year-old husband was diagnosed 2 years ago. He has been in watch and wait. We just met with his oncologist. His other blood counts are relatively stable, just increasing at a low rate. But his LDH has steadily increased the last 3 tests and is elevated. His oncologist

back to the drawing board with aches & pains
My OH was put on a 10-day course for what the doc suspected was a viral infection or a bronchial reaction to Tamsulosin. Hubby felt absolutely brilliant while taking the Pred, but since he stopped them 2 days ago, his old age aches & pains have returned. Hey ho. But so far he’s not had the return of
