Good morning
As well as
AIH
and PBC, I have hashimoto's... had my bloods done last week but not heard anything from consultant as yet and my gp said they haven't seen the results yet either. But aside from this I am fine...all will be well, this too will pass is what we have to keep telling ourselves.

42 and on 3rd IVF cycle
Hello! I am 42 and have low AMH. I am on my third back to back cycle. First was this summer and ended up in a miscarriage at 7 weeks, the second was a chemical pregnancy and very much hoping for success this time around. However, my ovaries don’t seem to be responding as well as they did the last couple

Egg collection with low follicle count, outcome better than expected!
Just thought I’d update my story incase anyone else is in similar situation and just wants some hope! Only had 3 large follicles at last scan (3 days ago - 3 more than 10mm, one at 10mm, another 3 less than 10mm). With a low AMH, we proceeded to EC! Pre procedure when the doctor spoke to me she said

A bit of hope for those with low AMH and high FSH ...
Hi Ladies I just wanted to share some positive news which might give others in a similar position some hope ... With low AMH and high FSH we were never expected to achieve high numbers of eggs at collection when starting out with IVF, but we were left feeling really disheartened when only ONE follicle

BFN- OTD tomorrow
I have been up since 4am and taken 2 tests and it’s a BFN. I am 10dp5dt today and I have to go for my bloodtest tomorrow. I am so gutted. I am doing IVF because we are a same sex couple. I have high AMH and am pretty healthy in general. I know it sounds a bit silly but I had honestly never considered

Hi Ladies, So the title says it all. It was supposed to be my test date today but AF decided to make her ugly appearance on Friday! I just wondered if anyone can advise on this. This was my second round on a slightly higher dose of meriofert and I reacted well to the medication this time round. At

6th final attempt
So here we are again..... We have decided after 5 failed attempts this is our 6th and final attempt of ICSI I’m 39 and was told average for my age is around 6 times for IVF/ICSI to work.. I think my consultant has changed my meds slightly this time and back on the pessaries (Cyclogest) instead of

Switching clinics - CRGH, Zita West, Lister, Evewell, IVI
We’ve had 2 failed IVF cycles recently (Aug & Oct) and are looking to switch clinics. We need a clinic that has expertise in treating women over 40 with low AMH. I’ve just done two cycles on short protocol and high stims. The number of eggs collected were reasonable (7 then 5) but quality significantly

Clinics that specialise in low amh?
Hello everyone 😊 I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any clinics that specialise in low amh. I live in north East Yorkshire, so preferably in the north. My first ivf was a failed cycle due to High fsh at egg collection. I got 5 eggs but sadly none lasted to day 5 for them to be frozen. My

Egg and sperm - 75% fertilised?
Hi .. I froze my eggs years ago, waiting for my prince charming to come along. He finally did, and at 43 we are embarking on our ivf journey (unfortunately, i am not able to get pregnant naturally and we had no success trying. I had a low AMH years ago, i have a blocked tube, and endo). We had 15 eggs

Low AMH cycle 3 update: OTD (sensitive) No symptoms and blood test result.
Hello ladies. It’s my OTD today. I have been testing obsessively for about a week I think. This 2ww has been awful. I was so convinced that it hadn’t worked again. I have ZERO symptoms. My FRER tests stopped getting darker before they got really dark like they did on my successful cycle. I was so adamant

Hello, I’m just looking for some advise...anyone that can relate and can share stories of what they found worked for them. I’ve been told my amh is critically low for my age, 32...of 3.2.. After trying to conceive for 3 years and getting no where due to being classed as unexplained infertility, I had

Low follicle count/AMH... IVF Round 2
Hi all, I'm a little excited by today's scan but also trying to remain calm and not get my hopes up. I have Low AMH and in February they only spotted 6 follicles so said the chance of IVF success was very low. Post covid we had our first round and had 5 follicles during stim - 3 looked a good size,

AMH levels
Hi everyone my AMH levels are 1.3 I know this is low but as an average what number of follicles should I expect. Just need a bit of hope. Goodluck on your journey.

THE BENEFITS OF TAURINE ON STRESS
I recently found some interesting info re: Taurine, an amino acid that can be missing in the brain or lower in people with neurological disorders with extreme anxiety or stress. I've been taking it at night and was just told I could take more of it without harm. Severe stress uses up Taurine in our

Update
Hello, Had my fibroscan today. Was kind of hoping that would give me some peace of mind and closure but sadly not. Showed 12 kPa. The consultant did however feel this was an overestimation due to inflammation and recent alcohol consumption etc. He is going to arrange for me to have a liver biopsy in

Feeling hopeless
I just had a call from the embryologist to say only one of my embryos is developing well (day 3). 1 had 6/7 cells the other 4 only have 3/4 which is poor for day 3. I only had mild IVF. My AMH is 28 and mild IVF is aiming to retrieve 6-10 eggs. I was disappointed to only get 7, 5 fertilised and only

So finally good news with different stims and without priming.
Hello Ladies, It's the first time I could write something positive. I have very low amh 36 years old. Previously primed with Merional pill for 2 weeks and 450 menopur which was a disaster. Follicles didn't grow and only had 1 follicle max 2. Now I decided I wanna ditch the priming and 4 follicles showed
