We have decided after 5 failed attempts this is our 6th and final attempt of ICSI
I’m 39 and was told average for my age is around 6 times for IVF/ICSI to work..
I think my consultant has changed my meds slightly this time and back on the pessaries (Cyclogest) instead of Lubion also menapur which I don’t recall having before meds are due to arrive tomorrow
And now it’s a waiting game for my day 1 to start at end of November and then here we go all over again luckily my AMH is good for my age so that’s good....
If anyone can give some advice, positive thoughts or experiences they can share that would be lovely this site has kept me going.....
Just to be able to have 1 child would be enough for me.....
Good luck to all of us out there about to start treatment or in the 2ww

I’m 28 had my first ICIS in October ended in a BFN. And i have been devastated since. I’m due to start a natural FET on my next bleed this month and I’m petrified getting another BFN.
I know I don’t have any success stories but I do genuinely believe we all will get the little baby we want so much.
It’s been a terribly hard road for you but please don’t give up. Your so strong, the strength to get this far is inspirational to me. I have been so down this week and crying saying it will never happen. But today is and new day and it will happen for us. God put us on a tough path because he knew we could get through it.
I am pray with every bit of my heart we all will get the baby we want so much. Please don’t give up. You got this.
Hey frankie you know every time I get a BFN it’s just as hard as the very 1st one it never gets easier as this journey goes on I really hope your next cycle is a positive one and you don’t have to do this cruel journey as many times as I and others have
We may be doing our treatment the same time although I don’t have any left in frozen so it’s fresh for me
I really hope we both get to put on here a success story it’s hard to stay positive but try to Hun I’m always here for chats if you need xxx
Hi hun your right this is such a cruel heartbreaking journey that I feel like has made me stronger going through all this so many times I’m 39 so my luck is rather dropped now but fingers crossed for me and everyone going through this
Thanks so so much for your lovely caring words they mean so much to me
Oh hun my fingers and toes are completely crossed for you
Oh that would be nice having some cycle buddies
It’s very hard to stay positive and to be honest fed up of everyone telling me to stay positive it’s impossible as a human to for the amount of times we have been through this
Good luck good luck good luck. Really hope this is your time, I heard a quote recently that I love “often it’s the last key that opens the lock” hope it’s this way for you xx
