Good morning

Good morning everyone hope you are all keeping well.

Three weeks in on mercaptopurin and interestingly, no nausea because of this medication, but it never made me nauseous in the past.

Today I'm extra tired, and I mean flat out exhausted. I have headache, and I am so thirsty and the lumps on my thyroid are a littlemore irritating than usual. I drink 2 litres of water plus tea and coffee during the day, so not dehydrated. I don't have diabetes, I was checked a couple of weeks ago...

The only other possibility is it's my thyroid. As well as AIH and PBC, I have hashimoto's... had my bloods done last week but not heard anything from consultant as yet and my gp said they haven't seen the results yet either.

But aside from this I am fine...all will be well, this too will pass is what we have to keep telling ourselves. We have to listen to our bodies and we have to rest when it tells us to.

Love light and blessings to you all xx

In the face of adversity your post is so positive. Hope you get your results soon. Maybe worth a call to the specialist's secretary and see if he can speak to you.

best wishes

Thank you for your reply butterflyEi. I feel a little better this morning and I have contacted consultant secretary to ask if I could have a copy of my recent blood results.

I feel that if we dont try and see positivity in our adversity, then we are fighting a losing battle.

Today I am going for a little walk around the local park, I need to exercise but it has to be simple, so walking....I also need to spend some time at the allotment too but not until tomorrow. My fella will be coming with to cut grass and brush down.

This lockdown has a lot to answer for and again on the news the government are changing the rules again. Is it just me or does anyone else think that the government don't have a clue.

So positivity to take us through the next set of changes and hope, that things will soon get back to normal. This has gone on far too long.

I mean yes we need to be careful but, if we don't spend time outside, and we don't mix with people, how do they expect our immune systems to cope with this new virus.

So be positive despite your adversity....and live each day to the full, that's what I intend to do.

Keep well and stay safe xxx

Hi Alley27

In a way to reassure you I am caught outside the UK here our cases were low as borders were quickly closed, as things looked up the Government started making changes on a week to week basis allowing air and sea movements. The latest news is a plane arrived at the airport at 2.25a.m. and passengers waited 5 hours in the airport car park whilst hotels were found for the 7 day quarantine rule which was implemented the day before. As more people move about numbers have risen. Seems like all Governments are having to make adjustments daily, they don t know what will happen next. My pharmacist here was not optimistic this morning sadly.

Hope your results come soon and hope you are able to speak to the specialist.

Best wishes
