Low amh how many attempts at ivf did you do/ think I should do? I have low amh and had 2 failed embryo transfers from my first ivf cycle. I don’t want to put myself through too much physically and financially so testing the waters for those of you with low amh and in your late 30s if you had any luck

Cheltenham Running Festival
Sandie1961 has already posted about today’s outing to a real event but I wanted to share my take on it. Firstly I have always had a soft sport for Cheltenham Racecourse, I rode a horse there in a charity race many years ago and have seen a lot of great racing on the course. I also was also part of the

Follicle size day of trigger injection? Accuracy of measurements!
Hi ladies, What size are your follicles on the day of trigger? Does your clinic have a number they look for? I understand they create a “story” based on your hormone blood test results as well as follicle size. Not sure what hormone levels should be do you? Second scan today I have 6 follicles though

Egg donor success?
Hi guys! I have just gotten the results back for my friend who is going to donate her eggs. She is 38yo and whilst I know this isn’t ideal, she has a very high AMH (56) and about 22 follies on each ovary. She also has PCOS but regular periods and no actual cysts on her ovaries. She has two healthy children

Consent forms signed - eek here we go - nerves!
So we've signed our consent forms, had our nurse planning appointment, all blood tests done. Just some additional paperwork on covid, costs and zika to fill in. But all go as soon as we're ready. We'll be on the long protocol, fresh cycle (or however it's called), with IVF and ICSI as a backup, the

Anyone Been Successful On Menopur?
Hi, We've just started our second cycle of ICSI. The first cycle i was on Gonal F 450iu and Buserelin, unfortunately we were only able to get 1 mature egg and 1 immature egg. Neither of which made it passed fertilisation. So either the medication didn't stimulate my follicles or I just have that low

Very low AMH and success?
Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has experienced success with an extremely low AMH result? Anything around less than 0.5 pmol? I’m 29 and have just received a result of less than 0.5. Thanks 😘

Round 2 here we go
I'm so nervous and worried. We are starting round 2, our final one on the NHS and I'm hoping it works out this time. Back at the start of the year my AMH and FSH levels were pretty bad, so we didn't have any success with round 1. Only 5 eggs ere collected (all fertilised ok), but only one made it to

AMH dropped lower - no more funded IVF what next?
Evening, I had my follow up appointment following failed first IVF cycle. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that it was going to be bad news, and it was…. In my area I am entitled to 3 NHS funded rounds so after my first one failed amongst the devastation thought at least can have two more

Starting Medication on Sunday - Any Tips or Advice?
Hi Everyone. So i've been told to start Suprecur nasal spray on Sunday, and even though this has been a long time coming, I feel slightly unprepared and anxious. I had my AMH tested about a month ago, and they said that we would get an appointment through to discuss results and treatment. All that's

Why do I have rib pain?
Hello all. Since I had my liver biopsy at the end of march this year I have been getting pains around the liver area (ribs) and sometimes it travels all the way round my back from right to left and wondered if this is normal so long after having my biopsy and will it go or have I got this for life now

Auto immune hepatitis (AIH) and decompensated cirrhosis
Consultant had taken me off
AIH
meds Nov 2019 when bloods were normal. A year later I have the above diagnosis. Now they say they will not put me back on
AIH
meds, it’s not the policy. Am I just being left to die or are others with this well without meds?
