Since I had my liver biopsy at the end of march this year I have been getting pains around the liver area (ribs) and sometimes it travels all the way round my back from right to left and wondered if this is normal so long after having my biopsy and will it go or have I got this for life now?
Diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis which is attacking my liver.
Thank you for reading, any advice will be very appreciated x

Hi. I had this same experience, unfortunately they hit a vein when doing my biopsy and was in pain for 3 weeks ended up with a clot and half a deflated lung, so it might be worth a gp check, hope you are soon on the mend.
I had one in February, they hit a nerve and I ended up in the ER for pain . I get it mostly in the right but it happens I n both left and right sides and into my back. It has gotten much better but still shows up once in awhile. G I wasn’t concerned about it
