I have just gotten the results back for my friend who is going to donate her eggs. She is 38yo and whilst I know this isn’t ideal, she has a very high AMH (56) and about 22 follies on each ovary. She also has PCOS but regular periods and no actual cysts on her ovaries. She has two healthy children of her own. Just wondering if anyone has had success with a donor in a similar situation? I’m feeling optimistic and keeping everything crossed as I certainly cannot afford donor eggs.
Thank you for your help

Those are really good numbers for anyone! And what a gift that your child will know and have access to their biological donor. My son knows his sperm donor and it’s a gift beyond measure. Any nerves I had about it faded once I saw the two of them together. (I’m not the bio mom, my wife is). Not everyone has this opportunity but for those of us who do, what a gift!
Oh thank you so much!!! Yes she is an amdd amazing human being and I feel truly blessed for her to have made such a selfless offer. It is so much for her to go through and I will be eternally grateful 🥲
She will definitely always be a very welcome e part in my child’s life ❤️❤️
I could believe her numbers!!! I almost fell over.. my AMH was 2!!!!! So thank you for your response. As we all know, positivity and support is so important and welcome in an uncertain world. Love you to and your family 🥰🥰
Thank you Diane, I am so grateful. She is the most amazing human- egg or no egg ❤️❤️Love to you xx
This actually made me tear up to read how selfless and giving some women are. Egg collection / donation is not an easy process, it’s invasive and just incredible that someone would elect to put themselves through it. Hope that all goes as well as possible for you both x
Good luck! Seems like it’s meant to be. Hope it’s successful for you. We’re gearing up to transfer our first donor egg embryo. Excited and terrified 😱.x
