What Do You Make of This?
Is this saying that targeted treatment with no or limited
ADT
would have been sufficient, especially if HDR brachytherapy were used with IMRT?

Update #10: The Adrenal Gateway
Hello 👋 Following on from my previous update here: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/149797821/9-thyroid-hormones-introduced-i-can-finally-tolerate-t3 I have had some bloods back. I also found I am clear for adrenal antibodies 🎉 so I don’t have Addison’s. In 2022 on 88 T4, 10 T3 [u][

diabetes and prostate cancer
I’m a stage lll patient with a tumor out and against the rectum. 18 months of
ADT
lupron and zytiga with near 40 rounds of radiation. I’ve been reading about a relationship between diabetes and prostate cancer.

I am trying to decide if at the end of my ADT treatment in Dec 22 if I need to go on something else or just wait and see if PSA increases.
Has anyone else just had RT to prostate + pelvic lymph nodes with 2 yrs
ADT
no other added therapy yet? This is my first post on this site.

"Real Thyroid"
Regard all. I've been treating hypothyroid for many years with Thyroid S (Thailand). I am seeing a new NDT called "Real Thyroid" from Vietnam. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. I'm not finding any reviews when I search for them. Love to hear from anyone who uses this or has

T4 in Levo v T4 in NDT
Taking NDT I have often wondered how long the T4 in NDT starts to work and how. In Levo everyone states six weeks before it starts to work. Does anyone have a clue it could be interesting but I cannot find any information on it.

Having an op and NHS freaking out about suppressed TSH
I am having a very minor op under general anaesthetic and NHS have revealed suppressed TSH (0.024). They are basically refusing to operate until I get a Dr to say this is ok in the presence of normal T3 (5.2) and T4 (14.8). The problem is I self medicate with levothyroxine (50mcg daily) and one grain

OVM-200 clinical trial
My red blood count is stubbornly under norms but he said it actually within norms for those on
ADT
? First I’d heard that
ADT
lowered blood counts tbh - I was thinking it was radiotherapy effects still!

T3 / NDT
Hi - I'm 39 and have had hashimotos / under active thyroid for 10+ years. I have suffered from 3 miscarriages recently + had 2 poor quality / outcome IVF egg retrievals. I'm on 100mg of levothyroxine, TSH is in range (around 2) but T3 is really at the bottom of the range. I don't think I'm converting

Anyone out there in south Essex recently had NDT removed by their endocrinologist
I'd like to contact anyone else in the same area and situation as myself as I have recently had my NHS Armour prescription removedly a new endocrinologist. Please pm me if you're in this boat. I need T3 and it seems I may get Levo + Lio - anyone taking this instead of NDT with success? I am so scared

side effects of Tamoxifen
I joined Health Unlocked in 2016 when my daughter was diagnosed with both breast cancer and diabetes. She was 36 at the time so it was the full works in terms of treatment. She underwent a lumpectomy in her left breast, chemo, radiation and has been on hormone therapy - 1 tab of Tamoxifen a day since

IBS worse with ADT Hormone Therapy for prostate cancer
My Consultant asked that I also have a one of shot of another
ADT
(in addition to the tablet) immediately prior to start of RT. Since I had the shot ( 4 days ago) my IBS seems worse than ever - it's very bad anyway. Terrible diarrhoea, cramps etc.

NDT, Stress, Heart Palps - Now What?
Hi All, I switched to NDT from levo around a month ago. I started to feel better on NDT right away and my TSH dropped from 3.1 to 0.7 within just 2 weeks. My Ts were still balancing - T4 was right at the bottom and T3 was only 24% through the range. I supplement with all the key nutrients and keep

On the Possible Advantages & Dangers of Making Certain Dosing Decisions
According to Pylarify PSMA scan at beginning of 2022, I am mCSPC (lymph nodes only, but beyond oligo), and am now on the oral
ADT
antagonist Relugolix (Orgovyx) and Apalutamide, both of which my oncologist recommends that I stay on for as long as they work for me.
