CHAPTER 6.THE SEARCH FOR HOPE "OUTSIDE" THE BUBBLE: OTHER NEUROLOGISTS, OTHER MEDICINES, OTHER DISEASES...
Explanation: I would like to share this chapter with all of you. Because of a worsening in my mother's health, I don't know when I will be able to resume the English translation of my book on curing Parkinson's. I will be sharing some chapters in this extraordinary forum. I have to stop my investigation

News that worried us and studies that gave us hope (04/2022).
This is the information that gave us hope while my father was alive and has given hope to many since then (March 2012). 1. News that worried us. In the coming decades the number of Parkinson's disease patients is feared to increase very worryingly, to double by 2030 (Dorsey 2007) and even to triple

NADH instead of NR, NMN, or niacin?
NADH might be better than our other options. Emphasis on might. Please share any knowledge on this! https://www.enada.com/

Dehydroascorbic acid: Could orange juice oxidised in the fridge overnight be an important weapon against Parkinson's?
Dehydroascorbic acid is the oxidised and reversible form of ascorbic acid or vitamin C. It can protect the brain and reduce stroke mortality, due to its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, whereas vitamin C or ascorbic acid cannot easily do so. In one study it was proposed as a possible treatment

PAF and SVT
I was in A&E on Monday night with a SVT episode, which wouldn’t stop with the usual way I stop it, so had to have an
Adenosine
injection which worked straight away, my blood pressure was sky high too. They let me out when it went down to normal.

Niacin, NR, NMN, NAD+,NADH: what is the effect on mitochondria and is it beneficial to PD?
I’m working on understanding the process by which niacin ultimately increases NAD and if supplementing with NMN, a more immediate precursor is more advantageous or perhaps NADH is better?

Svt and perimenopause/hormones
I spoke to the resus doctors about this last week after another episode which always leads to hospital and
adenosine
. Heart scan and tests show my heart is structurely fine. I have read it can be hormone related with perimenopause etc but resus docs are saying its not possible. I am 51 yrs old.

Heart rate monitor... Svt
Hi After another episode of svt this morning and the dreaded
adenosine
I'm looking into buying a heart rate monitor watch. Can anyone recommend a decent reliable watch that also gives warnings when heart rate is too high.

The report said infarction scarring was almost transmural and they had to abort perfusion due to intermittent 2-1 block during
Adenosine
infusion. My recovery is slow going at the moment and, I am having a few problems.

Excellent Article!
https://examine.com/members/deep-dives/article/can-restless-legs-be-ironed-out I don't think it addresses the
adenosine
side. I will re-read it and add some more thoughtful comments. I would love to hear everyone's impressions.

Circadian Diet and NADH (as best as a HS graduate can figure out)
So... I speculate a lot. I started the Circadian Diet based on the knowledge that PWP have weak circadian rhythms. I should add that my RBD is getting worse, so either nothing is working, or some of the things I do are working against me. But I digress. This study is about how if you restrict a mouse's

Fred the iron molecules tale : The end
The iron outside plays a part in normal dopamine and
adenosine
function, without which RLS can occur.

Fred the iron molecule, and RLS : A story.
I also know that according to some theories dopamine deficiency and/or downreglation of dopamine receptors, glutmate excess and/or an underlying
adenosine
dysfunction lead to RLS symptoms. I haven't a clue what the connection between the two is.

Honokiol, a natural plant product, inhibits the bone metastatic growth of human prostate cancer cells
In PCa cells honokiol induced apoptosis via the activation of caspases 3, 8, and 9 and the cleavage of poly-
adenosine
diphosphate ribose polymerase in a dose- and time-dependent manner.
