Liver adenoma?
I'm from the UK and 2017 I was admitted into hospital after right shoulder and upper quadrant pain which turned out to be a bleed in my liver of 8x9cm and after a week in hospital I was referred to a heptologist who then diagnosed me with a liver
adenoma
and changed the BC pill I was on.

Unraveling the Molecular Basis for Successful Thyroid Hormone Replacement Therapy: The Need for New Thyroid Biomarkers
For instance, both, a TSH-secreting pituitary
adenoma
and a mutation of thyroid hormone receptor β present with high levels of TSH and circulating hormones, but the optimal treatment is substantially different.

Regular, monthly, 68-hour fast
They removed an
adenoma
polyp (non-malignant) which had shrunk due to the fast. (My stools had been "D" or crescent-shaped, as the polyp had been almost blocking the sigmoid (the bit of colon that connects the descending colon to the rectum).

Fasting for colon cancer, colonoscopy and polypectomy
There have been anecdotal observations of tumours disappearing during a long (e.g. 21-day) fast... so, it is not surprising that an
adenoma
shrinks during a fast.

Thyroidectomy 11yrs now more issues....
I had a thyroidectomy 11yrs ago because of a large
adenoma
. I take 150mg of levothythorine and B12 jabs. Everything has been fine apart from the odd day of feeling tired and brain fog.

hello
While I don't love the idea of surgery, it is true that with removing an enlarged parathyroid gland, or one with an
adenoma
, the body can then rebuild bone to a certain extent. I will share my journey.

How much do we have in common?
I had one benign
adenoma
colon polyp removed 2 months ago. Have to go back in 5 years for another colonoscopy. 6 months ago my liver tests came back mildly high for AST and ALT but since have returned to normal. Ultrasound showed fatty liver. Even though I don’t drink, I eat healthy and I exercise.

Left Side Toxic Adenoma - awaiting left lobectomy
Hello all, I have the above which causes hyperthyroidism - I am on 15 mg of carbimazole each day which completely keeps me stable. The goiter has not grown at all from when I discovered it and it is benign. It causes me no discomfort with swallowing or breathing and Im quite happy on the carbimazole

summoned to doctor
I did have a parathyroid
adenoma
removed 3 years ago, hence this test. I am concerned that I may be refused future T3. currently take 75 mcg levothyroxine and 20 of liothyronine, which I have taken for about ten years, the last four or so, with fairly similar thyroid test results.

(Normal range 12-22) TSH- 3.48 (Normal range 0.27-4.2) FSH 2.8 u/l LH 7.2 u/l Oestradil 720 pmol/l (normal range 46-1200) Prolactin 567 (Normal range 102-496) I have a pituitary
adenoma
so this explains the elevated prolactin result. I told my GP that my periods are like clock work.

Cancer maintenance treatment
But they found quite a big inflammation/
adenoma
in the brain causing my dad a memory loss. Doctors say that it could be from the radiotherapy. For now, doctors said to continue with Keytruda, Zometa, Alimta and they added Bevacizumab.

White Eye Floaters after eating?
I have a Pituitary
Adenoma
and Sinus polyps but they don’t think this is the cause. In fact they told me that my right eye seems to be the one with the issue and that I have retina deterioration which is likely to have been a developmental issue?

In a quandary!
I’m due for another ultrasound endoscopy in 2 weeks time for my duodenal
adenoma
problem for which I’m under 6 monthly surveillance, there’s been no change each time but as they know so little about it I have to continue with surveillance indefinitely, I’m just hoping these new investigations don’t stop

New to AMN
But did find a pituitary
adenoma
though. He did cranial to lumbar MRI. I knew my cousin was having some of the same problems and he referred me to his geneticist who did find a variation in the ABCD1 gene that she said was disease causing.
