Thyroid follicular hyperplasia was histologically observed in all birds examined, while granulomatous thyroiditis and microfollicular
adenoma
were observed in 2 birds, respectively. Virological, bacteriological, parasitological, and heavy metal analyses were negative or within normal limits.

Congenital 1/2 thyroid, pituitary adenoma... chronic weakness, pain & more.
During tests discovered I have literally half thyroid, episode of dangerously low cortisol, micro pituitary
adenoma
. Diagnosed with CFS/ME but I feel its connected to above (hormones). Endocrinologist did standard blood test (not all) says ok apart from eostragen.

Atrophy thyroid gland (reduced gland size)
I suffer all the hypothyrdroid symptoms in a big way, on/off low cortisol, micro pituitary
adenoma
in last year, etc. Endo says my atrophy thyroid is fine & coping (hormones generally normal) & quite ignorant towards me.

liver adenoma and the contraceptive pill
Following an MRI Recently it was discovered that I also have liver
adenoma
as if things couldn't get any worse! Did you know constant use of the pill can lead to liver adenomas, I didn't, but google it and there's several articles on this!

my thyroid journey into madness
I have been diagnosed with a toxic thyroid
adenoma
1.5 cm on right and another on left under 1 cm so no testing on that nodule so far the bigger one biopsied 2x and was painful came back benign but disconcerting still not sure if it is would need to be removed to be 100% sure.

Parathyroid Help? :-(
was to be able to get to see an Endo and get him to look at all my blood tests over the past year, show him my symptoms that I'd printed from the Parathyroid.com website and also make him aware that no matter what website I read, elevated calcium isn't normal and it's usually down to a Parathyroid

Anxiety…how do I deal with it?
I had TT (June 2013) for presumed TC which turned out to be an Hylanizing Trabecular
Adenoma
(extremely rare and I realise I should be happy it wasn't TC - and I am but it isn't helping the way I feel). Mostly I feel like a fraud but these are real feelings; I feel anxious and cry a lot.

Atrial fibrillation cause
Hi I had hyperthyroidism 14 years ago it settled down following a course of carmibazole for 18 months. 4 weeks ago I had an operation on my neck to remove a parathyroid
adenoma
which was found and removed from my goitre. Soon after the op I felt ill and developed a temp.

Your opinions would be welcome.
Prior to thyroid, I had a pituitary
adenoma
as a teenager, which was successfully treated with surgery plus radiotherapy. It was routine follow-up for that that revealed the thyroid issue. When I was first diagnosed with Graves, I fought tooth and nail to get T3 and eventually won.

Is thyroid cancer overdiagnosed and overtreated?
My FNA and core biopsies were inconclusive, ie they couldn't determine
adenoma
or carcinoma. Surgery was required to relieve compression on my windpipe and it wasn't until the lobe was biopsied that stage II HCC was confirmed.

At one stage I read about a different blood test that can help define what to do when normal tests are inconclusive. Does anyone know it?
I had Graves Disease and a Parathyroid
Adenoma
so had thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy at the same time 2 yrs ago approx. I tend to be unstable, but thought I had finally improved. At present I have normal T3, normal T4 but low TSH.

UPDATE
I have one of three things - a follicular
adenoma
, a hyperplastic nodule or a follicular cancer. The first two are benign. If the results are inconclusive again they would opt for surgery to be on the safe side. They recommend removal of half of the thyroid if nodule is malignant.

Recovery is Possible - Assuming You Know What's Really Wrong... Part 3 - Symptoms vs Tests - The Adrenal Piece of the Puzzle
. ~90% of cases of Addison's are autoimmune. 70% of Cushing's Disease are caused by pituitary
adenoma
or growth. My GP has offered me the Synacthen test via an endocrinologist. The Synacthen Test involves stimulating the adrenals with tetracosactide injected into the bloodstream.

Despite her brief as an endocrinologist to evaluate my thyroid or possible Cushings and look into the adrenal
adenoma
I have she insists on looking at other things which is driving me mad. I have all the usual issues that so many of you on here have with this ongoing problem.
