Theory suggests diet leads to Alzheimer's Disease
I am not surprised that scientists have a theory that high levels of fructose lead to a form of food
addiction
and this leads to inflammation, resulting in Alzheimer's.

Looking for positive support and good advice on similar or past experiences.
I'm struggling with clinical depression and
addiction
I find it hard to believe in myself most days and to recognize my accomplishments. I've lived a fast and nowhere near healthy lifestyle. I'm looking forward too being a better person.

Got a job interview. Plus my top 3 choice for therapists in my homecity. Overthinking the decisions
The other lady is a big deal, clinical psychologist, a lot of experience but she worked mostly with
addiction
and im so tired of this theme. The third lady can offer me EMDR and has my name but she's like crossing the line between psychology and astrology, chacras and stuff, digs deep.

Down to 1 mg Pred and how to let go?!
I want to let go completely and I think I am more psychologically attached to it now- not an
addiction
or anything like that - I just think it is like taking training wheels off the bike. Has anyone else successfully cut the cord?

why docs don’t want to prescribe opioids for RLS….😔
In addition, opioids have a risk for chemical dependence and
addiction
. Given the relative dangers compared to other treatments, clinicians want to avoid prescribing them. 2.

The Winding Path Of Depression & Anxiety
DNA, trauma, physical health, environment, upbringing, conditioning,
addiction
... it takes a lifetime of experience to find the bottom of the barrel. It took me 47 years and a crap ton of health issues and trauma to lose my will to live.

Broken in all the right places?🧐🤔
I'm TRD, GAD, PTSD, Panic attacks, disorderd eating, body dysmorphia issues, childhood sexual abuse victim,
addiction
and substance abuse... this is my baggage. But it doesn't get to own OR define ME. I'm finally rising above my "crutches" and coming to terms with my dark side.

I have other co-occurring addictions with the most significant overeating, but I have a history of alcohol and sex
addiction
. So, I have an addict brain. I have started practicing yoga and have found that to be extremely helpful also. Basically, I struggle ... a lot with anxiety and depression.

Looking for Advice on Mother/Daughter Relationship
I didn't know my bio-dad, the man I called dad was in and out of my life up until 16 due to
addiction
issues with no contact since. My mom was a single mom, doing her best, or I try to think of it as doing her best. She was in and out of some extremely unhealthy relationships.

Success with Adderall dependence and changing medications?
I assume someone trained in
addiction
psychiatry may have some insights into normalizing brain function and neuroprotective measures from Adderall. But I pretty much get ignored or told they can't help without much explanation. Even sent a flyer for an
addiction
center.
