Offically addicited - no run = sad me
Oh I think, is this what they mean by runners
addiction
? Oh, who'd have thought me of all people would get addicted to this. Overweight, over 40, over the hill? Apparently not. Well body I can see you want to run, but today you are going to have to wait.

End in sight
As a 60 year old grandmother, and a smoker of 45 years' nicotine
addiction
, I reckon it was a pretty daft thing to do. However, I've stuck religiously to the schedule, and completed W9R1 last night.

Is there any help after a shopping addiction while on Mirapex?
I was on Mirapex for about 9 months, and ran up about $30,000 due to shopping
addiction
. I've been off of it for about 6 months and just now getting to where it isn't a daily struggle. Does anyone know if there is legal recourse for this side effect? The doctor did warn me of possible OCB.

Running on air, sometimes I don't know when to stop.
Is this an

Sometimes all I need is the air that I … (sneeze)
report is tempting … the things that run through my mind in a 45 min class … so time up, pool empties, competitive streak sees me achieve a gold medal in dash to the showers event, then said lady walks towards changing room pausing only to collect her crutches … ... maybe I still have a label

Afraid of the Doctor
He said I need to retrain my brain and lose my
addiction
to pain meds. I am not nor have I ever been addicted to pain med. The pain is real, the muscle are cramping severely and at this point I can think of nothing but the pain. I cannot make it stop.

Pain is a word from the past!
Their doctors feel they are already on too many meds. or they are afraid of
addiction
. PLEASE.........In this day and age no one should have to contend with dehabilitating pain. Not one single person. If you must take medicine every four hours for pain do so.

All Apologies
It would be interesting to look into the lives of some other musicians that died early, (or even still living) who had chaotic lives and battled with
addiction
and mental health problems and see if they had tics or TS as children.

Week 12 - I've Got to Keep On Keepin' On
If you are graduated, or approaching graduation and looking for something to do "in life after Laura", I hope you will consider some kind of strength training as a supplement to your new-found
addiction
to running.

Addictions are really just desires and cravings that we as humans experience, they overtake the sense of self and the sense of pleasure is twisted to the point that it can only come through in addictive behaviour, so we think. Most of us blame external factors ( problems, family, work etc ) when its

When you get up at 5.25am just to get your run in before work because you won't have time after, then it's an
addiction
and you are quite mad!

New and suspected emphysema and confused.
He told me to quit smoking so I did just like that because I don't have an
addiction
to smoking and can take it or leave it quite easily.

What's the best way to deal with someone in an anxiety crisis?
He also refuses to take antidepressants although they calm him down and he won't take valium short term for fear of
addiction
. I want to share the load with him and support him but it's so difficult to get through to him and he refuses practical help.
