Adderall IR 10mg
I was just diagnosed on Monday and started Adderall instant release 10mg yesterday. I'm wondering will I start to feel effects over the next few days/weeks or if I'm not feeling it immediately, it's not going to happen at all at this dose? I definitely feel... something. Like I didn't realize that all

No one ever told me about this when I was diagnosed.
Hi there, I'm new here. Looking for support like everyone else. I am 29 years old, female, and have been diagnosed with ADD since I was four years old. This is also the year I started taking a low dosage of Adderall and continued on and off until I was about 15 years old. I am in grad school and now

Alcohol, Adderall, and ADD
Ive been a heavy drinker for 20 years. Alcohol stimulates me and helps me get housework done. I recently realized I was abusing alcohol to treat my ADD. No one believes me when I say it stimulates me because alcohol is a depressant. I decided to treat the ADD with a dr help instead of myself. So, far

New Here
Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hello and that it’s nice to be here with people who understand what I’m going through right now. Does anyone have any experience taking an Adderall prescription for ADHD, and it making your anxiety worse?

thoughts on non-stimulant meds?
I think being on adderall (I’ve tried all the other ones too) might be overstimulating me. I definitely have ADHD but I don’t think I have found the right meds yet. Any thoughts would be helpful.

New Member with ADHD
I was prescribed
Adderall
XR
and it made such a difference. My husband was especially happy. My question, after taking for 3yrs it doesn’t seem to be working as well. My brain thoughts are everywhere and I catch myself interrupting people (my husband) more and more.

Adderall wears off too fast
I’m on 30mg of Adderall Extended relief. I feel like it works great for about 5 hours, but towards the late afternoon, wears off. This is a high does and I don’t want to go any higher. I tried taking adderall fast acting 10mg in the afternoons but I didn’t like the way that made me feel. Does anyone

pre-employment drug test and adhd/adderall?
Hello family I got a new job offered today but I'm worried about the pre-employment drug test. Never had this issue before as I started taking adderall recently (about 5 months). I've been taking zoloft for 5 years. It's a new opportunity for me and I really hope to keep the job for me.

Estrogen Dose Too High?
My hormones history is very long, so I won'tgo into great detail , but I had a hysterectomy (everything gone) about 16 years ago. I did fine on 1 mg oral estradiol for about 8 years. About 8 years later, I crashed badly with every menopausal symptom. The worse being the psychological ones. Not one

Starting Zoloft and a new job... when to take adderall again?
So I’ve been taking
Adderall
XR
(15mg) and prescribed IR to take when needed for adhd (inattentive). The combo works well for me but my psych put me on Zoloft to get a handle on my depression.

Can anyone relate with finding a great medicine but can't take it as prescribed?
Taking Adderall seems to help curb anxiety and it lifts my mood. Although I can't take it as prescribed. Any body relate?

Inattentive ADD - trying to find right medication - stimulants make her defiant and avoid schoolwork, nonstimulants haven’t been successful
After daytrana patch (or
adderall
XR
at a different time) - refuses to do schoolwork, is defiant to me and is rude to her little sister. And then is hyper socially aware and seems insecure when out among her peers. She cried that it’s “hard to make friends” and it breaks my heart.

Decision to medicate
Hi, I wanted to share my experience for anyone out there who might be on the fence about medicating. I am not a doctor or an expert. I’m just sharing my personal experience. My son was diagnosed with severe ADHD, anxiety and OCD. They also recommended further testing for Autism spectrum disorder.

Commuting against someone’s will?
I have an odd question. My husband was diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and ADD. He started Ritalin LA last week. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and. Adderall works great for me. Everything seems to be a conspiracy against my husband. Legally, is there a way to have him committed for mental health treatment

Help with talking to dr about meds
I’ve struggled with A.D.D. For a long time. I’ve taken medications like adderall for it and various drugs for depression. A few years ago I had an acute pancreatitis that was extremely painful and I spent months, multiple hospital stays and surgeries before My father took me to the Mayo Clinic and they

Breathing issues while on meds
Do any of you ever feel like you can't get a full breath while on medication? I am rather fit and cardiovascular exercise isn't a problem but when I am just sitting and working I find I can't get a full deep breath. I take 30 mg of generic adderall in the morning and occasionally take 7-15 mg after lunch
