i've posted couple days ago about the doc putting me on adderall, well after two days it did not work for me at all, started to see "shadows", if you know what i mean, in a way it calmed me down but the adhd symptoms magnified, i don't know what else to do, i was diagnosed with adhd last year, depression

Adderall Shortage
I’ve been on stimulant medication since third grade. I am now going into my second year in graduate school and this shortage on adderall is immensely affecting me in so many ways. What tips or suggestions do you have? I’ve called 13 pharmacies and no luck.

After 4 years away from Adderall, it doesn't have the same kind of effect as it did before.
I was prescribed Adderall for 14 years, having moderate success with it. I had gotten very ill and was in 2018 diagnosed with small nerve fiber damage of unknown origin. Learning to live with that crazy neuropathic pain nearly killed me, and I took a break from Adderall. I just recently started back

Yes, I agree, ADHD needs a new name!!!
I think it can be rather negative and traumatizing to stick these labels on kids at such a young age. Just because some kid is having some trouble paying attention in class, well then they get labeled as having some kind of disorder and then they’re probably thinking Why is something wrong with

Used to take adderall in high school, 29 looking for immediate help online
I took
adderall
30mg
XR
in high school and then allowed myself to get depressed and stopped taking it. I’ve been taking steps to getting my life back together but can’t get out of bed without medication.

Guanfacine IR vs XR
I have a 5-year-old son with severe ADHD and ODD. We started our journey with medicines about a year ago. We started with Ritalin and Adderall, both of which gave him extreme rage issues. Our doctor suggested we switch to Guanfacine immediate-release. He is currently on 2mg in the mornings, working

Adderall shortage?
Hi all - I am wondering if anyone else has found some ways to work around the adderall shortage that seems to be affecting our area (NW suburban Chicago). It seems like it has been problematic for the past 3-4 months. Today, I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours by local Walgreen’s to be told that they are

Effective ADHD treatment for spouse who doesn't seem invested in change
My husband was diagnosed with ADHD months before I was, but I started treatment much sooner and have made more progress. Both of us were 37 at the age of diagnosis. I've always coped better with my symptoms-- with a lot of effort I can meet deadlines, create some structure, pay attention to other people

What to do about Adderall Toxicity, i.e. it messes with your endocrine system. Withdrawal, long term side effects.
Anyone else have to deal with Adderall Toxicity? Adderall messing with your endocrine system? Not overdosing or to that extreme. But long term use where your body is dependent on the medication and there are long term side effects. i.e. if you crash and out if you stop taking adderall, or have found

Experiences with Concerta
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago and I just decided I would like to take a stimulant on a regular basis. I have tried Adderall in the past and while I liked the focus it gave me it was too harsh for my stomach and gave me heart palpitations. I started Concerta a little over a week ago. The

Morning Routine
Please help! Getting my ADHD 8yr old son out of the door to catch the bus is a nightmare. I have a visual schedule, give him his meds first thing when he is still in bed, turn the light on and play music, have his clothes picked out and still every morning it’s a fight. When he finally gets out of bed

New Here: Life + ADD = overwhelming
Hi - New here, hoping to get advice and support to improve my struggles with ADD. Here are some things I've noticed over the years 1. Time is my enemy. There's never enough and I'm often making bad choices about what to do with it. I feel overwhelmed most of the time. 2. What I always thought of

Desperately looking for an amazing ADHD psychologist/therapist/coach. Ideally with decades of experience and a serious degree.

Looking for medication advice for ADHD-inattentive type and anxiety
I have ADHD (inattentive type) and anxiety. I am currently not on any medications for ADHD or anxiety but would like to try to find a medication for ADHD that does not make my anxiety worse. In the past, I tried Concerta and Strattera and both made me feel really jittery, sick and dizzy. A nurse practitioner

Your input/ experience please!!!!
And she upped the zoloft to 150mg and the
adderall
ir (the 10.30 one) so I take
adderall
10mg
xr
+ 15-20mg ir a day. To be honest, did nothing! Okay maybe the first day was okay, but it is like taking nothing, I'm less motivated and worried about not getting more productive.
