Sandoz Adderall and all other stimulants? - formula change - decrease in quality/ ineffective.
Have you noticed your manufacturer generic no longer working? Taken it for years consistently and October and November refill do NOT work at all back to back. The November fill was even increased to 30mg ir 2x daily. Was even worse. I chalked it up as a rare anomaly at first but lightning doesn't

Is Jornay PM a better option for someone with a tendency to abuse adderall?
Adderall is great when I take my prescribed 30mg dose, but occasionally I double or triple my dose in attempts to combat depression symptoms. Sometimes I’ll take more later to put off the crash, and then I don’t sleep and function so poorly for the next couple of days that I might as well be unmedicated

Abilify Withdrawal Side Effects
We have been slowly weening my son from abilify after seeing some worrisome side effects after 2+ months at 5 mg. He had been on it for just over a year. We finally reduced it to 0 on Friday. Since we dropped from 5 we have been seen much more aggression, super low frustration tolerance, self harm in

Work Impact - comprehension and listening
My work is being greatly impacted by my ADHD in ways that never happened before in my past job. It’s like I cannot understand a single thing being said in a conversation or directly towards me. I take notes and have even been recording conversations on my phone and still things are not clicking!! This

ADHD meds that don’t have as much side effect
Hi, I just joined this group. My 14 year old has tried both Concerta and Adderall. Her teachers have noticed a remarkable difference in focus when she takes her meds. However she has refused to take them because she said she feels weird when she’s on them-that she’s not herself. I’m not sure what

ADHD and Addictions
I am currently on 30 mgs (which, to be fair is, several milligrams more than the 5 that she started me out on) of
Adderall
XR
and have not really felt any benefit from the medication.

Questioning NP aversion to stimulant medication for 12yr old
I have gradually eliminated and am weaning off medications for those conditions and instead using generic
Adderall
XR
30mg (under the management of a great PMHNP). But my question is now directed more for my daughter, who sees a different provider.

Adderall Shortage
I’ve been on stimulant medication since third grade. I am now going into my second year in graduate school and this shortage on adderall is immensely affecting me in so many ways. What tips or suggestions do you have? I’ve called 13 pharmacies and no luck.

After 4 years away from Adderall, it doesn't have the same kind of effect as it did before.
I was prescribed Adderall for 14 years, having moderate success with it. I had gotten very ill and was in 2018 diagnosed with small nerve fiber damage of unknown origin. Learning to live with that crazy neuropathic pain nearly killed me, and I took a break from Adderall. I just recently started back

Yes, I agree, ADHD needs a new name!!!
I think it can be rather negative and traumatizing to stick these labels on kids at such a young age. Just because some kid is having some trouble paying attention in class, well then they get labeled as having some kind of disorder and then they’re probably thinking Why is something wrong with

Guanfacine IR vs XR
I have a 5-year-old son with severe ADHD and ODD. We started our journey with medicines about a year ago. We started with Ritalin and Adderall, both of which gave him extreme rage issues. Our doctor suggested we switch to Guanfacine immediate-release. He is currently on 2mg in the mornings, working

Used to take adderall in high school, 29 looking for immediate help online
I took
adderall
30mg
XR
in high school and then allowed myself to get depressed and stopped taking it. I’ve been taking steps to getting my life back together but can’t get out of bed without medication.

Adderall shortage?
Hi all - I am wondering if anyone else has found some ways to work around the adderall shortage that seems to be affecting our area (NW suburban Chicago). It seems like it has been problematic for the past 3-4 months. Today, I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours by local Walgreen’s to be told that they are

Effective ADHD treatment for spouse who doesn't seem invested in change
My husband was diagnosed with ADHD months before I was, but I started treatment much sooner and have made more progress. Both of us were 37 at the age of diagnosis. I've always coped better with my symptoms-- with a lot of effort I can meet deadlines, create some structure, pay attention to other people

What to do about Adderall Toxicity, i.e. it messes with your endocrine system. Withdrawal, long term side effects.
Anyone else have to deal with Adderall Toxicity? Adderall messing with your endocrine system? Not overdosing or to that extreme. But long term use where your body is dependent on the medication and there are long term side effects. i.e. if you crash and out if you stop taking adderall, or have found

Experiences with Concerta
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago and I just decided I would like to take a stimulant on a regular basis. I have tried Adderall in the past and while I liked the focus it gave me it was too harsh for my stomach and gave me heart palpitations. I started Concerta a little over a week ago. The
