I take folic acid 5mg, levo 100mg,
Adcal
-D3 (twice daily) and now atorvastatin 20mg. I take the folic acid, D3 and statin at bedtime. I take my levo to bed and usually take sometime between 3am and 5am when I wake for a drink. I then take my other D3 about 7.30am before going to work.

Osteoporosis Update
Started on
adcal
and had a blood test. Calcium was fine but Vit D level low. Have been prescribed a 7 day course of vit D and will restart
Adcal
after. I have researched dietary options and apparently chai and sesame seeds are good. Also told collegen but not sure how that works.

I am feeling less stiff and painful which is good, but my moods are up and down, and i have now been given another two lots of meds (
Adcal
and the acid one that you take once a week and can't bend over or lie down for at least 30 mins!) .

Dentist nightmare
I have now come off the drugs and I just take my
Adcal
. I realise I am at risk doing this but I cannot face the possibility of going through all that again as my teeth are my worst enemy.

I think I read somewhere that I shouldn’t take the
Adcal

My Rheumatology doctor is refusing to treat me whilst I am taking T3 which is prescribed by my Endocrinologist can he do this?
If he repeats this threat not to treat me (I have already told him I don't want an infusion as I am having a lot of dental work done at the moment so it would not be sensible, also I cannot take
adcal
as it upsets my stomach, and have asked him if there is anything else I can take that will help protect

Advice on Blood test results
I don’t take
Adcal
or Alendronic Acid. I had a dexa scan and all well, recommended not to take AA and I’m on the waiting list for a follow up dexa as it will be two years since first one.

Adcal-D3 clashing
Hallo, my doctor has prescribed
Adcal
-D3. I have been taking MacuShield for eyes along with Centrum multivitamin for women over 50. Any views on taking all this would be welcome, just wondering if I should drop some of them.

Thank you..
To be fair, I have had avascular necrosis of the right hip which may be their over-riding concern but I do take
adcal
and magnesium, plus live yogurts etc. The MRI -if and when it happens- should indicate any issues with the left hip I guess.

My story
Just exercise,
adcal
, vitK2,boron, magnesium and prunes. I attend yoga,Pilates, and tai chi classes 5 times a week and walk 5K to class. I spend 15min after class using weights in the gym. DXA 2018 shows 0.2% reductive spine, 0.3% improvement femur. In light of the spine result.

A message to you all from Peachy6958
I told her that I was taking the Pred and
Adcal
but not the AA. She was genuinely shocked and asked me why. When I explained she was even more shocked that I had not had a Dexa Scan. She was brilliant. I related to her as muchof the information that I had learned.

NHS prepayment card
I have three items prescribed a month Pred,
Adcal
and Omeprazole (£24.00) so this more than pays for itself. Link attached for further info....... every penny helps 😀😀 https://apps.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/ppcwebsales/patient.do

Post Stent Pain.
I'm on 5mg Ramipril, 75mg Clopidogrel, 2.5mg Bisoprolol, 75mg Aspirin,
Adcal
4x750mg. Ive got the usual stent settling feelings. I've been building up my exercise, been doing about 2.5 miles brisk walking each day. Yesterday I started cardiac rehab course, which I enjoyed.

Calcium! Taking Amlodipine. Heart.BP. (Calcium Channel Blocker) + Adcal-D3. Calcium. ( Bone Saver) Seems Contra! Wise ones?
Think I said it all in the headline! My footie team escaped relegation today! Barking madness to feel emotion about this branding world but there it is! I should have supported REAL MADRID. Or ASTON VILLA. But there we go! Enjoy the sunshine if you can. ATB. & Ta.
