My muscle and join pain has gotten progressively worse over the last 6 or 7 years (about the time I began taking Crestor). I also suffer from moderate to severe osteoarthritis. I never thought the reason for my pain was taking a statin, and I also believed the pain would go away in time. In 2008, I was

New to peritoneal dialysis, new to the community - Just saying hi!
Hi there, I'm new to peritoneal dialysis since July 2013 and this is quite a new and scary thing for me. I was advised to join here so I could meet other people and maybe learn more about my treatment and my condition. Sometimes I feel very alone with my condition and kidneys are such complex and difficult

Just been told I have emphysema.
Hi, new here, my GP admitted me to hospital last week because she thought I had clots on lung. Had CTPA scan and no clots, and first doctor said chest x-ray was fine apart from more air in lungs than normal. The next day consultant examined me and looked again at x-ray, said there are signs of emphysema

Hi folks, New to the site but already finding it very helpful. I have just had my PD catheter fitted and will be starting my training in a few weeks. I have been advised that PD catheter belts/band are really handy but am struggling to find many suppliers. Can someone point me in the right direction

My wife ,54,diabetic since last 23 yers is insulin dependent. She takes 55-50 Units of Huminsulin,100Iu potential. She is a CKD patient too.
The Doctor now prescrobed VICTOZA 1.8 units. After taking this she is developing acute gastric problem, vomiting sensation(vomiting also). She is getting head ache in the night. Is VICTOZA helpful to such patient. Her BS level is normal with 110-135 fasting(630 am) and 130-140 in the evening at 6-30 pm
