ROR1 Update
Does anyone know if there are any preliminary results from any of the clinical trials involving ROR1? From what I understand, ROR1 is found on 90% or so if CLL and very little on healthy cells. I heard there is an anti-ROR1 medication in at least one clinical trial, and another trial is being planned

Update to Specialist 1st visit
Hi everyone, Thank you for the support and information shared to my original post. As promised, I’m sharing what was explained to me by my referring hematologist regarding the letter sent her by the specialist. This is my experience and I want to be careful to not alarm any other forum members. This

IGVH Unmutated and Stereotypes
I have a question that I am going to ask my CLL doctor when I see him, but I am wondering if anyone can answer. I am IGVH unmutated, which I understand is correlated with an aggressive disease. Is that true for everyone who unmutated? Or are there some sub-set of unmutated who belong to selected VH

Specialist - 1st visit
Hi Everyone, You were all so kind with support when I had posted that I was anxious about my first visit to the specialist, and I wanted to update you on how the appointment went. The Dr was terrific, but not nearly as informative as I had hoped. She confirmed that I have ET & early MF, but the issue

The dogs went spotty during Saturday's Spot Leukaemia walks and Show.
Hi Just a quick note to let you know that the spotty dog show, (a local idea for Blood Cancer Awareness Month) went well, the weather held. Special thanks to Gill a CLL patient. Gill bravely introduced herself and told her story and explained why the 'Spot Leukaemia' Campaign is relevant for CLL patients

Labs back on my progressing cll ...thoughts.
Ive been concerned my cll is transforming into Richter's. I just got back two lab numbers. LDH is normal at 134 (87-241 normal) Uric acid is elevated at 7.6 (3.5 to 7.2) Can I infer anything based upon my richters concerns ?

I end my rheumatologist suspect that Enbrel has stopped working for me. She suggested changing to rituximab or abatacept. Anyone here have experience with this change? Did you have good results?
