Bizarre aid in relieving my RLS symptoms
I have suffered severely from RLS for most of my life (I'm now 66). For the last few years I have been prescribed Ropinirole and Pregabalin, although the Pregabalin was stopped at the end of 2021. My symptoms have been unchanged for many years - sensations in legs, arms, shoulders and wrists; generally

Advice moving forward:
I currently take 300mg pregabalin but it only is about 60% effective, some nights it’s not effective at all, I also take cocodamol and sometimes clonazepam. I had already been on roprinirole and managed to wean myself off. I need some advice moving forward… I saw Professor Walker about a year ago -

Post stent pain
Hi this is my first post but I’ve been reading other peoples posts daily since I had a heart attack and stent fitted a month ago. The last couple of days I’ve started getting short, sharp stabbing pains in my chest where the stent is. It’s localized and Dr Google says this can be normal for some, post

Exercise do's and don'ts
Morning all, So I had a stent fitted 4 years ago and feel quite healthy and try and do my 30 mins exercise each day. I had a massage a couple of weeks ago and she reckoned that I shouldn't be doing exercises such as planks, press ups, bench presses etc. It's the first I've heard about it and would

Blocked LAD and travel insurance
Hi all I am 61 and in 2017 I was diagnosed with a blocked LAD 50-60% not bad enough to stent but on medication. Statins, amlodipine and aspirin. I am looking at going to America next year and wondered which insurance company anyone could recommend. Also, how would you describe my condition - would

Angiogram and possible second Stent and Stress test coming up
Firstly thanks to those who replied to my first post about my nuasea it is improving and on a good day I have no symptoms. Firstly when I had my HA on the 12th July they fitted one stent but noticed the left side was showing some narrowing and I think they put a balloon to widen it with a possible stent

Does anybody here take Isosorbide Mononitrate 60 mg twice a day ?
Had a 3 X CABG 7 years ago, I’m now a 64 years old, male. Everything since then has been fine, until recently, as I've now started to get angina attacks in the early mornings whilst asleep, and if I exert myself (like walking to the shops). I had to go to A&E when using my GTN spray did not work on

My husband had a sudden heart attack in Spain, 8 weeks ago, one artery was fully blocked and a stent was fitted. They told him his heart was now scarred for life. His echo was 45 4 days after the procedure. He’s home and after seeing a young GP he’s trying to increase his medications (an instruction
