So I had a stent fitted 4 years ago and feel quite healthy and try and do my 30 mins exercise each day. I had a massage a couple of weeks ago and she reckoned that I shouldn't be doing exercises such as planks, press ups, bench presses etc.
It's the first I've heard about it and would welcome anyone's thoughts
Many thanks

A very warm welcome to you and your first post, I hope that you find the forum helpful in your continued recovery.
You have to remember that I am not medically trained but I have not heard of these restrictions and except for a few weights and gym equipment that you should avoid then i really don't see a problem.
But this masseuse has put doubts in your mind so maybe a quick call to your GP/Cardiologist Nurse could supply the answers you need.
Whatever your doing your are right to keep up your level of fitness and well done in doing so.
Take care and please keep us informed.
Hello
If you have any doubts whatsoever then ask your doctor about things.
Keeping yourself fit is essential so keep going and keep yourself right.
A mixture of weight training and cardio is usually ideal.
