Bleeding and pain after colonoscopy and polypectomy
In August I had a major PRD flare up, with large amounts of mucous and repeated bowel
accidents
. My GP referred me for a flexible sigmoidoscopy which found two polyps. I was then referred for a full colonoscopy and polypectomy. That took place two days ago.

I’m about to do my 6th transfer and have been recommended a double transfer. I’m 38 five failed transfers, one was a miscarriage. Each time I had a single embryo transfer, other than my 4th which was a double. This will be my first frozen transfer, all previous were fresh. what’s everyone’s thoughts

Is Living a Normal Life Again Possible?
Hi, I'm new here, hoping for help from the forum. My diarrhoea started on 13th June, 2022 and has continued daily to date (11th August, 2022). After a range of tests, which were all normal, my GP has diagnosed IBS-diarrhoea. I've started a low dose of amitriptyline and I also use loperamide occasionally

Running at 60
I’m on Week 8, Run 3 and up to this week, have been injury free! However, I changed my route last week and ended up running up a few small hills/slopes (to be fair, it’s not easy to find flat runs on the Isle of Wight!). Anyway, I have developed a slight Achilles’ tendon strain and also, quite severe

Update on FET/ ovulation from this morning 🙈

waking from an induced coma
Does anyone know where I could possibly find information regarding how people are woken from a head injury. So for example how they try and wake the patient and they give a time limit of say 2 hours then decide they aren’t ready so put them back into the coma and they keep doing this until they are

catheter placement
I've been reading that feeding the catheter via the radial artery at the wrist is preferable for a couple reasons. If there's unwanted bleeding it's much easier to stop in the arm than in the abdominal. There's no need to have to lie flat on your back from 2 to 6 hours after the ablation is completed

IBS and bad breath.
I have had constipation my whole life and i am 40 now. I recently meet a specialist who suggested that I have IBS after running some test. He adviced me to drink plenty of water and use Movicol and Siblin(an atificial fiber). I now drink more that 3 litters of water everyday and my bowle movement is

Week 9 Run 2 (W9R2)
I ran W9R2 just after sunrise this morning, sure a variant of the undulating coastal route I used for W9R1 would be engaging, challenging and that the change would exercise me well without being too much. My pre-run brisk walk ended. There had been rain overnight prior to my run so it was still wet

I completed C25K about two months ago and have been going well, really enjoying something I thought I wouldn't, until now! I had an accident at work (I'm a postie) and crushed my foot under the postie bike - Spiral fracture of the 2nd metatarsal of my left foot. Needless to say I cant do any running
