I have just been given Uniphyllin Continus by my study doctor (Copd study for new drug) but forgot to ask if I should continue to use my ventolin during the day, does anyone know

Unfortunately, whilst we can comment as to what instructions are normally given for certain medications (purely from personal understanding), I don’t think anyone here will be able to answer that accurately as you’re taking it as part of study, which may also involve taking it in a way you wouldn’t usually. Even other patients enrolled in the same study may have been given different instructions depending on how the study is constructed and what it’s aiming to prove. The only way to know what you’re supposed to do is to contact the prescribing study team and ask them.
