Enzalutamide - less is more?
Low-dose patients had less prior
abiraterone
or chemotherapy (28.1% vs. 65.8%, P < .001); more testosterone assessment (65.6% vs. 40.5%, P = .016); poorer ECOG performance status (48.3% score ≥2 vs. 26.6%; P = .040), more comorbidities (75.9% vs. 46.3%; P = .010)) including increased cardiovascular disease

Rezvilutamide: new anti-androgen is better than Casodex added to ADT for newly diagnosed high-met HSPC. But is field too crowded?
With Zytiga (
abiraterone
), Xtandi (enzalutamide), and Erleada (apalutamide) and docetaxel already approved for this purpose, I don't know whether Jiangsu Hengrui will be able to make significant inroads into the market, unless they are able to compete on price.

Help: Metastasized Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer!
Later I was switched to Zytiga (
abiraterone
acetate) with an injection of lupron every three months. Then I was put on Xtandi with lupron once per month. The Xtandi didn’t lower my PSA, but seemed to have more side effects than the others.

Question about weight lifting while on anti testosterone therapy.
I was placed of
abiraterone
and ADT 6 months ago. I am an avid exerciser so I have not experienced any fatigue but I think I was noticing mild weakness. I decided to start weight lifting. My question is: Do I expect to get stronger or just slow the deterioration.

End of Treatment Options? Oncologist says Make Yourself Comfortable Suggestions
His wife inquired whether or not he could go back on
abiraterone
however given that he had both radiological and PSA progression on
abiraterone
this would no longer be funded and unlikely to be of any clinical benefit.

Swollen feet with some intermittently mild increase in neuropathy.
Eligard and
Abiraterone
with prednisone continue to be my current meds while in the HS/CS status. Hoping this is primarily due to pushing myself activity wise, more than a side effect from meds; and wondering if maybe compression hosiery might be helpful for some brief length of time.

My Turn to Ask a Question
In my case, this would mean coming off Xtandi and going onto Zytiga (
abiraterone
). Health Canada has not approved the use of Lutetium 177-PNT2002 for metastatic prostate cancer but has allowed its use in this study.

Pluvicto Availability in the US
My first PSMA PET confirms that my adenocarcinoma has reactivated and is no longer responsive to
Abiraterone
/pred and Lupron. My oncologist feels I would be a good candidate for Lutetium 177 PSMA therapy however there is no supply in Colorado except for a clinical trial at the University.

My life has gotten much more complicated since Abiraterone suddenly quit working about 6 months ago
The biggest problem right now is how to address a rise of PSA to over 800 since the
Abiraterone
quit working. There may be some Docetaxel in the near future to take care of the rising PSA. Eligard appears to be keeping the testosterone level completely under control.

Where to buy affordable Enzalutamide?
I know I can get generic
abiraterone
from India which can be affordable. Only problem is my dad already has had
abiraterone
many years ago and I would like to add enzalutamide to radium 223 which has been proven safe and more effective.

As such,
abiraterone
metabolism creates its own competitor, in a manner of speaking... [by producing] 3-keto-5-beta abira
abiraterone
[which] ends up as an androgen agonist, thus potentially mitigating the antitumor potency.

What should We do now?
So day before yesterday our MO told to start
abiraterone
+ Prednisone and we started it from yesterday morning-four 250 mg tabs . Then dad noticed blood in his urine and bloating in the stomach. My question is that is it a side effect or something serious ? I love my father a lot.

Update on 2nd gen drugs & my new MO
Hi just an update on things, still trying to possibly get
abiraterone
added to my Orgovyx . Found a MO in my area recommended but all he did at our first meeting was tell me the Stampede trial and the NCCN guidelines did not indicate that I actually needed to add abi at this time.

Triplet therapy question
Started Lupron,
Abiraterone
and prednisone Nov. 1, 2021. Due for second 6- month Lupron shot on Monday. Was I ever a candidate for triplet therapy? The term “newly diagnosed” has me confused. If yes, have I missed the boat? I have appointment with MO on Monday.
