Abilify

Family Dr. believes is PD as does his Psychiatrist..we were first hoping it was tremors cause by his antidepressant abilify but due to recent episode of severe RIGIDITY I am convinced it is for sure PD.

While Abilify WAS the antipsychotic which helped me more than anything, it caused significant dystonia & neck/back pain. Plus some weight gain (yarr!)

Ritalin worked ok for couple mos but it stopped.We are searching for new meds.Yesterday he started Adderall, but he did not like it ( shaky hands, filling hyper ) His doctor wants to go back to Ritalin combined with Abilify. I am traumatized by those meds. How did your kids react to it?

Or has anyone added abilify? Low dose? It is used for people who struggle with the standard ad’s as an add on. The linger this is taking the harder it’s getting. More darker days, intrusive thoughts etc. and I have everything to live for. A wonderful family and friends etc. it’s so hard. Thx people

I was almost off all Western meds — I actually was off for a few weeks, but now in almost a full dose. Suggestions for getting off them for good? How do you make the meds into a liquid?

My son was moved from Abilify to Risperdal a few weeks ago, and while I think it’s helping him manage his emotions, he’s gaining a noticeable amount of weight. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Anyone taking Abilify with the lexapro? Doc suggested it to stabilize my mood. Sometimes I wonder if I just have just put up with the weight gain and slightly higher blood pressure on cymbalta...

My son was put on abilify its been working but he literally has vomitting all the time now....all day its getting pretty bad they cut in down from 5 to 2 mg but its still not working has anyone ever experience really bad vomitting in there child with abiify...thanks

I’ve been take my klonopin 1 mg 3 times a day for awhile now and same with my abilify 10 mg and I think my meds stopped working my anxiety and panic has been out of control I can’t even drive or leave my house

We cut Wellbutrin to 150 and Zoloft to 100 and added Abilify 2mg. I am with a completely different provider hence the change. They are seeing if I might have a form of bipolar depression. I have struggled since middle school with depression and over time anxiety surfaced.

I’m categorized on record as a very severe case. 100mg pristiq 5mg abilify 1mg xanax (one at night to sleep and extra for emergencies in case of a panic attack) Abilify and xanax work pretty immediately on me.

Abilify for a while. Just got on Lithium. I take Ativan sometimes and was taking Propanolol sometimes but just quit that. I am pretty miserable. But there has been worse times. Maybe if I went off of one at a time slowly...I am sure my doctor would not want me to.

Right now he is on intuniv, focalin,abilify, and concerta. And still by 2 he is so hyper you cant stand to be around him! He is so impulsive it is scary!

I don’t think my medication is working I take 1 mg klonopin 3 times a day and 10 mg abilify once a day and I still get bad panic symptoms and bad physical symptoms I need advice. My panic attacks and gerd also get really bad when I go in the car or think about doing anything to be honest

We see a neuropsychologist and he is taking Adderall, Abilify, Zoloft and Clonidine. He manages to stay fairly calm during school but he often sits and does not do his work. He is very smart, but impulsive, aggressive and ODD as well as OCD.

I take abilify 10 mg 1 time a day and klonopin 3 times a day 1 mg and I still have this panic feeling and racing thoughts
