Hi everyone. Bit of a different one. Had my gallbladder removed 5 weeks ago. I have stage 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis. I had gallstones as well as endometriosis on the gallbladder. I'm currently on a waiting list for hysterectomy.5 weeks on my abdominal pain is worse than ever around the surgical areas. I have a feeling that my endo flare ups are causing the pain/inflammation and making the healing difficult.
I'm due back to work in a week and actually feel worse than before I was signed off.
Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

Have you tried taking tumeric for inflammation and drinking peppermint tea might help too. I would ho back to the Dr or consu tant who did this and ask if it's normal?
I would definitely advise going back to the team who did the gall bladder surgery, as there are several possible issues that can arise after gall-bladder removal.
I'm so sorry you're in a lot of pain post surgery. Thank you for sharing your sotry about your gallbladder. I was recently diagnosed with adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder via MRI. No gallstones. I also have endo. My endometriosis consultant hasn't connected my gallbladder to my endo and to my knowledge, they rarely are connected. Though I frequently hear about women who've had their gallbladder removed while having endo. You're the first I've come across who's actually been diagnosed with endo of the gallbladder. May I ask more about your symptoms and diagnosis? Did you experience upper abdominal symptoms? Did they spot gallbladder issues pre surgery, via MRI? Durign surgery, was endo found elsewhere near your gallbladder - your liver, diaphragm for example?
I definitely think you should share your pain symptoms with the surgeon who performed the surgery. They should investigate, perhaps with an MRI. I hope you're able to get help for your pain.
