I’ve had RAI August 2017. Was ok until June 2018. Then went under active reading of 8. Endo started me on 50mg levothyroxine. Well gradually I have started to feel ill. My joints ache my energy has upped and gone. I feel emosh for no reason and I don’t know what to eat as I think food makes me worse.

NDT private prescription what do you pay is anyone getting it on NHS
Hi all, I have no thyroid destroyed with RAI because of Graves. I am intolerant to thyroxine and currently on T3. I am pretty well on it but do feel an underlying something still missing. I was reading up more on NDT in the past I dismissed it as everything I previously read suggested that T1 and T2

've just started my low iodine diet, a few weeks after a TT for papillary carcinoma. Just received the results from a test done two weeks after the op. From my position of not much knowledge it looks like I'm deficient in b12, possibly anemic. I'm on 150mcg of Levo daily, and the oncologist has advised

What does it mean? Anti-TPO in results.
Hi all, I had Papillary Thyroid cancer in 2014 at the age of 26. They removed the right lobe first as the FNA was inconclusive, but then performed a total thyroidectomy following confirmation of the cancer. The cancer was encapsulated, so the risk of it spreading was low apparently. Regardless I underwent

General help and advice on sorting my thyroid
Hi all, I'm going to try to keep this short but the story is a bit long and complicated. You can see more in my profile but at this moment I would like to see whether a trial of T4 would help me. I have very little energy and lots of pain walking up stairs/hills especially. I guess I've had that

Thyroid support supplement
Hi all, As I was shopping for supplements, and with the doctor not upping my meds atm, I saw a supplement 'Thyroid support formula' which has various vitamins and iodine, so bought to take daily. However is this OK to take alongside levo? Product info in the attached pic. Thanks.

Hyperthyroid - What else is there to do?
I’m a female, 33 years old, married, no kids. I discovered I had hyperthyroidism about 3 months ago. I’d gone in for an obgyn appt because I missed a period in March and then had a very light period in April. We were hoping to start getting pregnant. The doctor did a blood test that showed it was a problem

I am new here and hope that sharing will be mutually helpful.
I had papillary (sp?) thyroid cancer in 1997 treated by surgery and T4. In 2004 following an increased reading in thyroglobolin I had three days shut away following radioactive iodine treatment. Two years later I had surgery, radioactive treatment and a year on steroids to treat eye thyroid disease (

Severely low serum magnesium is associated with increased risks of positive anti-thyroglobulin antibody and hypothyroidism
Can anyone tell me how many times magnesium has been mentioned here? [i]Sci Rep. 2018 Jul 2;8(1):9904. doi: 10.1038/s41598-018-28362-5.

Iron Deficiency May Predict Greater Risk for Hypothyroxinemia: A Retrospective Cohort Study of Pregnant Women in China
One of the parts of the thyroid jigsaw that is most often repeated here is the importance of iron levels. Here, in the context of pregnancy, another paper highlighting the importance of adequate iron. Yet, most of the time, we hear of standard treatment being ferrous sulphate - and the difficulty people
