it's just under range at 2.1 (2.2-2.6 I think)
Daughter is taking 25mcg T3 and 100 T4 10 years post RAI
Should she be concerned?
Thanks

She should certainly discuss with the doctor who may want to do further tests. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in our bodies and we need a balance - has she checked that her diet is sufficient in calcium and that she has a good vitamin D level?
Low vitamins are extremely common
Can you add test results and ranges for most recent tests of vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin D is strongly linked to low calcium
What's her current TSH, FT3 and FT4
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. When on Levothyroxine, don't take in the 24 hours prior to test, and if on T3 don't take in 12 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
Is that corrected calcium? Was her albumin tested as well? If you have the original values you can use the link below to work out corrected calcium.

If it is corrected, only marginally under, increase foods with calcium and retest in 3 months. It is better to try dietary supplementation before looking at pills etc first.
