I finally managed to do the more advanced version of the bench dip.
I went out early today to the local park where I usually do S&F. It was so cold and windy that I was almost running between the exercises just to keep warm. There was no-one there except a toddler with his father but they gave up quickly so it was just me alone in the park.
I think with no-one else being around I was able to concentrate more, so when it came to the bench dip I thought I'd give the advanced version a go. If I landed on my bum well there was no-one to see it! It was hard. I definitely couldnt have managed another dip and I'm not sure I was doing it fully, the way I can do the other version. But I did it and I could really feel the effort in my arms - so pleased that I've finally cracked it!

Have yet to do any bench dips "officially", as only about to start week 2. Did try one out when deciding whether or not to give this programme a go... ended up a nasty mess on the floor. They're really hard! So really well done.
