I am not very good at doing strength exercises, I know they are important - just find it hard to get motivated!
But over the last couple of weeks I have managed to incorporate strength exercises into my runs. Inspired by the S&F podcast I run and then stop to do one set of exercises then run on again to the next bench or tree! I do pull ups on some railings, standing press ups using a bench/table made out of railways sleepers (see photo), bench dips and more press ups on a low bench. Each exercise I do 10x3. Next I want to get back to doing planks to improve my core, perhaps on my non run days....weβll see! π¬

Well done! I too find it hard to be motivated about doing strength stuff - so silver lining of busted knee will be working on my upper body and core π
Just need to get rid of the current back pain and find my cheap-y wrist weights Iβll be good to go.
