Finally got around to doing this and boy don't you feel it, especially in the arms (well at least in my case!!). Definite made me think that my previous stretching that I did after my runs were not quite as effective as they could have been.

Hi.

The muscle soreness is called DOMS - delayed onset muscle soreness. This muscle soreness is most frequently felt when you begin a new exercise programme.

DOMS is a normal response to unusual exertion and is part of an adaptation process that leads to greater stamina and strength as the muscles recover and grow.
