Intermediate workout

After completing the S&F podcasts and recognising the improvements I had made I decided to join the gym so I could add to my cross training. The wellness coach put me a workout together and for the last 6 weeks I have competed this 3 times a week followed by a nice swim.

Today was my review and my coach was so impressed with my progress they have advanced it to the next level which I am so pleased about. The exercises are aimed at strengthening my body to help my running, working on mainly my legs and core but also doing some chest work. None of the workout is on the treadmill as the gym is for my non run days 😊

I cannot believe how much I enjoy it all and i would never have considered it if I hadn’t done the s&f podcasts.

For me it was more the improvements in my joints during every day life. The aches and pains, cracks and grinds all improved significantly as the muscles etc got stronger and were able to support them.

Now the early morning struggle down the stairs with my left knee cracking on every step no longer occurs. My knees have improved massively.

how did you improve your knee exactly? I get 10k minimum or more steps in daily and my right knee bothers me.
