Today: Upper Arm Workout! nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/1...

Fairly easy, even for me! And it was really good timing as my legs are still recuperating from my 60min run yesterday. So having a workout for only my arms (except for warm up/cool down) was great! Thanks ๐Ÿ™ NHS!

(Although my back โ€˜clicksโ€™ at certain moments... mmmhh...)

But than sitting on my blanket after the workout I got close to nature and got fancy with my photo collage editing skills ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ–ผ ๐ŸŽจ ๐Ÿ“ท ๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿป Happy, happy moments ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I will have to try that one as my arms are comparatively weak.

Yeah, mine as well! I thinkingโ€™s the sign of our times. I used to do a bit of rowing in the gym which was great for arms, and also low impact. But a resistance band arm workout works as well.... like this one: nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/1...

Your journey sounds fantastic and such a lovely workout space!

Iโ€™m not sure if it was Juju or Rosabi but one of them recommended Emi Wongโ€™s 20 min total body stretch. I really like it and her posture video too 15 mins. Link to stretch on here. I will be back to doing them with my daughter as of this evening. I know my flexibility got better from this, just be careful as I slipped too far for me in one of the positions and damaged something, will use a towel for support this time. I did in conjunction with NHS plan as an added bonus ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you! The link did not work for me, so Iโ€™m wondering if it this video m.youtube.com/watch?v=OIww1... ?

I am resting a day, as my legs feel still under the weather and exhausted after a 60 min run 2 days ago..... so I tell myself as I sit here, looking at the downpour of rain and wind and sorting my future exercise plans.

So instead of exercising I am preparing my exercise links ready for when I finish my 12-week programme.

So great to have some more good low-impact workouts to be added to that, specifically the ones that can be done in the garden, without much equipment.

My equipment limit is a blanket and resistance bands. The rest of my equipment takes the form of tree branches, rocks, lawn, garden paths, big tree (for standing push-ups).

Thank you ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ’ช

I added it again hope it works this time. She uses only a carpet square so a mat/blanket should be fine. She also has no jumping cardio too. Did you find the NHS videos? They have a lot of great and a few confusing workout videos too

Yeah, the NHS site is a treasure trove, but a bit difficult to navigate. All of those (incl belly dancing) is on my to-do list for the future! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜€

I made myself a beyond 12 week 12 week fitness plan with them included but didnโ€™t start after injury, have only been running. But this week is the new beginning will probably start back on s&f then add my plan when I feel fully better. Good luck ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Ohh, would love to see the โ€žBeyond NHS 12โ€œ plan, will you post it, once youโ€™re there?

Good luck on your new beginnings!

Oh goodness Iโ€™m not sure itโ€™s fit for public consumption. I will, though itโ€™s only me trying to make a plan not a proper plan.
