Hi people...

I am expecting very few popper-ins today. I know so, so many of you are whizzing around, getting plenty of steps in.... and some of them , very speedy ones!

I am busy too, but things have settled a little and Mr OF and I are looking forward to a day with family tomorrow.

I have a few gifts to wrap and that will be, job done!

Well, this week for many, will be fairly manic and I am really hoping that folk do remember to take care of themselves, amidst all the hurly burly. You are important... and not just because you may be supporting others, but because YOU are important !

So, enough... what can we do this week, to keep us feeling tip top ? Loads of tips throughout the year here , but... for now.. I am going, on these next few days to go with, feeling the joy.

Dancing... yes... that is going to be part of my exercise plan over the next week or so ! Dancing is so, so good for us apparently. and even if you are on the IC or having to do chair based exercises... that upper body and those arms can maybe feel the joy?

Michael Mosley... Just one thing...this gives some useful info...

You can do it in groups, you can do it alone... anywhere, any time... ( within reason!) You can do a long or a shirt session and I know that not just at this time of the year, I very often have a bit of a boogie around the house to a favourite tune on the radio!

*************

So... For anyone who fancies it... here goes

Make your own favourite play list... @CBDB puts some great running playlists together for her runs!

My daughter put a CD together for me and I love it...

But, YouTube have loads of ideas,,, just take a look..

Low impact.... just type in...Low Impact Beginner Christmas Walking & Dance Workout

Family workout...Low Impact Beginner Christmas Walking & Dance Workout and....

My personal favourite... Cozy Little Christmas... The Fitness Marshall on YouTube

Something a tad more active !

youtube.com/channel/UCGb94a...

NHS too...

nhs.uk/conditions/nhs-fitne...

A particular favourite for me too, is one that I have used loads of times , especially when things get hectic or tough? This really gets me smiling and I just move around willy-nilly!

youtube.com/watch?v=QUQsqBq...

So.... take a look,,, have a dance around, whilst you are doing those chores and just enjoy...

Lots of great reasons to move and for me, one of the best? According to research, dancing is one of the best exercises for staying young!

That suits me perfectly!

Hoping someone may pop in today, and maybe share their own tips for favourite dancing songs!

If not... then I wish everyone, a wonderfully happy Winterval, where ever, when ever, however and with whom so ever, you spend it with.

See you in 2025 !

Merry Christmas Oldfloss and Mr OF. I can imagine you having a kitchen disco while pots are bubbling! I’m doing the hosting this year so there’s been lots of running around the last few days, but family members arrive today, so time to enjoy company and relax.

Best wishes to all, especially those who have lost friends and family over the year. . This is such a difficult time , and I hope that memories of happy times will provide comfort and peace.

I love that video “BRAVE”! And I do remember when doing first the NHS la Bomba! (See pic, me and Chloe dancing 😉) What fun!!!

As a non-dancer (and what is that even?) when in need of some dancing, I now always grab a bit of 5-Rhythm dancing, which works as well when one is tired, as it does for those energetic moments. Link healthunlocked.com/strength...

So happy dancing! And happy holidays!
