And we are on a roll. And weโre rolling right into the next week of our advents goodies!
And thereโs lots to keep us going, so thanks to everyone for sharing various December routines. I do love reading about other workout buddyโs choices before choosing my own.
Having said this, my last weekโs S&F record was abysmal! Iโve had one of the busiest weeks of the year, with attending a conference, then travelling to London for a high profile launch at a prestigious venue, travelling back (or rather waiting at various stations due to cancelled trains left right and centre), and then a 3 day training event that started Friday but lasts until Sunday pm! All happy events, but so so sooooo tiring! So all my workouts of running and stepping, rowing and S&F have taken a back stance, but my poor feet are still utterly tired each evening!
So I need just a few days to get my equilibrium back. We all have those days, right? Where โtopsy turfyโ or โfast fast fastโ is the main trait of the day and all we need is a weekend where we can focus on ourselves without any commitments or scheduled events.
Iโll have to wait until next week but Iโve saved quite a few workouts rolling by that I want to do!

We starting with a video which is not exactly a follow-along video, but but possibly more if a stretch-hack of how to make five stretches super efficient and reach those parts of your body that you seldom do. So itโs a good one to try and chose one or all five to embed into your existing stretching routines. Let us know how it goes!

This is my favourite Pilates YouTube channel, so Iโm sharing this little Pilates mat practice. Cailin has a full Pilates Studio as her main business , but has continually dropped both Mat and equipment based Pilates practice on her channel, and her guidance I find extremely warm, considerate and good.

Of course we cannot do without a step workout, can we? Itโs one from a twin sister team that I came across when I did a deep dive into various step aerobic rabbit holes on YouTube. Yup, the step-craze had reached me at that time, and Iโm now a proud owner of a beautifully, and much stepped on piece of specialist equipment, one that you may pull out for this workout. I love their energy, good music, the outdoor setting, and the clear voice over instructions!
And they often show how beginners might even join in by using a door mat! Ingenious!

Earlier this year we had a Tibetan rites challenge, so this one is a throwback to that challenge, but with a follow-along yoga/TibetanRites session.
It says itโs 15 min long, but there is a 5min Shavasana section at the end, basically lying on your back and meditating for 5 min in that position (and not falling asleep, right?)
ALSO NOTE: she does the max number of repetitions for the rites, 21 repetitions for each of the 5 rites. Be aware if you have not worked up towards that number of repetitions, that is a lot. So feel free to do only 4 or 7 each, if you havenโt been practicing.
I will be doing 7, which is the maximum I have ever done, but I know some of us have continued on to 21, and might really enjoy doing them alongside this video!
