Stage 4 rehab

The picture is actually from yesterday's walk ! 😁Today was a bit different for me .

It's the first time in a gym for over 20 years !

My initial rehab course was telephone support and an online cardio and strength course (once I eventually got on one , but that's another story!)

Today was the start of the next stage .

Stage 4.

For this you need to have proof of successfully completing the previous stage which I have .

So it's a 12 week course 2x a week at my local gym .

For me it's more concentrated on strength as the area I feel I now need to build on .

So after a 10 minute warm up on the bike it was on to upper body and core strength work although I did finish off with leg work as well as a tight hamstring can also influence the plantar Fasciitis.

It was a good and enjoyable first session of about 50 minutes and my next one will be on Wednesday.

I'm sure this will also pay dividends with the running.

So a pretty full exercise regime now including walking running and strength work .

That should all help keep the weight off as well 😊🤞

That sounds a really worthwhile rehab programme.

Gyms are weird places but, if you get over that, you can exercise muscles you never knew you had!
