This post is (or rather will be) a summary post for all the instruction posts for the 34 Pilates Mat exercises as celebrated during March MATness. I realized that it might be handy to have one post with links to all the others.
March MATness is an annual event initiated by Benjamin Degenhardt to celebrate the exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates by using the month of March to do (about) one exercise from the Mat sequence per day - the only sequence for which we actually have a book from and with Joe! A note about spelling: I tend to capitalize mat because, originally at least, the exercises were done on a mat designed by Joseph Pilates himself (he called it The Mat 😉). So, yea, he also invented a ton of gadgets - and was a bit quirky about spelling... Degenhardt is using MATness continuing that quirkiness... Though for all three (me included) English is not our first language, so there's that...
